It's funny.

Hawthorn are only as good as they feel they are. If they go in arrogant - 'we're not just going to beat them, we're gonna embarrass them!' - they play better footy, struggle to miss at goal. Make them feel their inexperience, remind them they're mortal, they collapse.

They're very good when you let them front run, but take it to them and they're gettable.

Nice to wipe the shit eating grin off Sam Mitchell's face.

They’ve certainly got the speedy players but I reckon they need to play a bit more of the run and gun style.

Their best is well & truly good enough, been close the last 2 seasons and have improved depth.

Be Interesting to see how the older teams fare as the season goes on. Takes a soft injury issue to a Pendles/bottom, Danger/Blicavs etc and season can drastically change.
