I tipped the Cats, looking good, always back a team of battle hardened vets against a team of ever green kids is my philosophy, although reckon Port are overrated. If I was Port, I'd consider trading Wingard, he is one of those players who are all veg, no meat, no substance to his game.

Sensational first half of footy. Great to see two teams cracking in siren to siren.

Tough to say who is going to win from here. Thought it was advantage Port after Geelong had to use their sub early, but with White now out that has been evened up.

My guess at this stage is that Port will pull away in the second half. Look to have more run in them and that will be magnified as the game progresses with Geelong having so many talls in play. No doubt they would have been looking to sub one out but of course that is no longer an option.

Have to feel sorry for James Kelly, looked like a fairly serious injury. Champion footballer who has been an underrated cog in a very good side for a very long time. We have just experienced a champion retiring early through injury; hopefully Geelong don't follow suit.

Good game finals like tough no easy posession. I think Port will run over the top in the last qtr.

Outstanding win by the Cats. Thought Port would be too strong and especially so after they lost Kelly early and had to sub in a taller player.

If Blicavs isn't the most improved player in the competition then I've completely missed something. Has developed - rapidly - into a phenomenal footballer.

I feel thats one area we dont need. Pittard is average and made plenty of mistakes tonight
