I think it was with around 4mins left where the Dees kicked it towards goal and their player tried to take the contested mark when all he had to do was punch it across the line for a behind to make it a 7pt margin and they'd be setting up to defend a kick in, but he dropped it and it rebounded the length of the ground.
Then there was another shot on goal that just needed a point, but went out of bounds.

How in the world do you give up a 6-6-6 with 8sec left? And once the free is paid, why do they have to come back and reset their positions? Surely Dees are allowed to set up to defend the free kick? To force them to come back to positions, then allow play on before Dees have a chance to get to those positions properly is extremely amateurish by the bush league.

You'd think Dees could have mitigated that last play.

The way they re-set after the 6-6-6 infringement and players were called back into position was absolutely horrific. Take a look at Viney...he was on the wing, but setup level with the centre circle on his own. Left him with no chance to fill the empty space that Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera ran into.

All he had to do was position himself at the corner of the centre square closer to the Saints end. Just terrible game awareness. They had plenty of time to think about it.

And to think he was the former president of the players association.

Maybe it's just I have this bias against him, but if this was someone else it would be all over the place as being a negative.
