It’s always the feeling when you miss finals though, Graffy. Two years ago Hawthorn and Gold Coast fans would have been looking at us in the top 8 and saying the same thing. Clubs do turn it around. We’ve got to make sure we are one of them.

I concur, yet he was the reason that Freo lost imo. He came on as sub and provided nothing, he was cooked two years ago. Had it been a

younger running machine, then the result would probably be different.

I was thinking the same thing. Our capacity to create pressure and capitalise is way off the pace with too many conditional players. A long way back.

Basically the teams to the right of us on the chart finished above us, except Melbourne. To the left of us immediately is Adelaide & GWS on virtually the same. So we are at the bottom end of the good range.

Sure, but I was referring to the teams in the 8 playing finals. Old heads for Geel and Coll prevailed against more fancied opponents and straight into a prelim.
