"In the book, Davis said he first broke his silence over Tupac's killing in a closed-door meeting with federal and local authorities in 2010. He was 46 and facing life in prison on drug charges when he agreed to speak with them.

They offered to let me go for running a 'criminal enterprise' and numerous alleged murders for the truth about the Tupac and Biggie murders," Davis said of talking to federal authorities. "They promised they would shred the indictment and stop the grand jury if I helped them out."

Surely they are because what are the odds of 2 rappers with a beef against 1 another being murdered 6 months apart not being connected?
How many rappers don't beef with other rappers, LoL, at last back in the day! Some in the industry have implied that the East/West coast beef was manufactured/exaggerated to a degree to promote record sales. Certainly, Dre worked with Jay-Z, other east/west coast collaborations going on at the time. Tupac and Biggie were murdered 6 months and several thousand kilometres apart. While it's not impossible they were connected, I think solid evidence probably would have been uncovered by now. Instead the evidence points towards Orlando for Tupac. I didn't look into Biggie as much but IIRC there was an incident related to theft from a studio and/or his home, and investigators thought his murder may be related to that.

Why? Because Tupacs occurred 1st?
yeah you got it wrong way round I think mate. not that it makes any difference to this discussion atm.
it was connected in that it was revenge, for pacs death. Biggies assassination was after Pacs, and it was on the west coast, biggy is from New York.
One theory is "poochie" * shot him, another theory is that guy Amir, the nation of Islam guy pulled the trigger.
* poochie a hired shooter from mob pirus / Compton, (also deceased)

The theft was a gold death row chain. allegedly Orlando Anderson snatched it from Trayvon Lane, a death row crew.

This is pretty good information about the case against keefe d :

Wow .. so this dope thought the Proffer Agreement he was under for making statements to the police about Tupac's murder prior, was going to cover him for the confessions he made in his book?

A Hahahahaha.
LA police acting like they are super sleuths and solved a case due to thier diligence.
A Hahahahaha
27 years where everyone including some LAPD knew who did it.
Never change America

Wasn't it Las Vegas pd?

From Keefe D's book, what happened after they left the fights when his nephew was jumped in the foyer.

The s**t was on! Tupac made an erratic move and began to reach down beneath his seat. It was the first and only time in my life that I could relate to the police command. ‘Keep your hands where I can see them.’ Instead, Pac pulled out a strap, and that’s when the fireworks started. One of my guys from the back seat grabbed the Glock and started bustin’ back.
The first shot skinned Suge in his head. I thought the mother*er was dead. I heard stories that Suge supposedly used Tupac as a shield when the bullets started flying. But that’s some bullshit. Suge was already wounded; he was the first one that got touched. As the rounds continued flying, I ducked down so that I wouldn’t get hit.

When the shooting stopped, we boned out, and a white Chrysler Sebring full of young ladies was following us. Their window quickly got shot out, so they stopped. The interesting thing to me was with all them rough ass fellows they were supposed to have with them, none of them did a damn thing and tried to come after us. There was a lot of shots let off in both directions.

The car we were in was shot the * up. I don’t understand why people act like Tupac was an angel. s**t, the fellow had busted on some off-duty cops in Atlanta a few years earlier. So he wasn’t scared to bust. On top of that, by the time we rolled up he had to know the person they jumped on in the casino was a South Side Crip. So they had to be on high alert. When the shots settled a couple of people in our car had fragments and glass in their hair. But none of us had been hit.
