I think I heard about this show from this thread. Top stuff. :thumbsu: Wouldn't have bothered with it based on the ad on TV.

Got into it after watching a big bulk of it on a sick day. Better than what I expected it to be. Good finale. Will be interesting to see next season, with the aftermath of the undertaking, and Roy's development. He's full cast next season right?

I hope they don't make Laurel into an annoying bitch, like most other shows do.

I hope they pretty much just get Laurel and Oliver together, let Laurel be a side character, and that's it in terms of the love section and focus more on the important stuff, like catching bad guys.

And it seems like they're beginning to lean towards The Hood as becoming Starling City's resident superhero, instead of a vigilante. That's pretty much all I got out of the interview.

Oh, and as much as I think how hot Thea is, if she becomes a superhero.... man that shit will be way too cheesy.

So I just finished the whole first season of this.

I didn't go in with high hopes but it was surprisingly really good. I did like how included Roy Harper and am interested to see if they do make him the side kick.

Looking forward to season 2 and more scenes from the Isaland.

To me it's a mixture of Dexter and Lost.

Not sure where you got Dexter from?

But you're referring to the flashbacks yeah? (regarding Lost). A lot of TV shows are doing it now, I know Revenge and Person of Interest are doing it.

Personally, don't really like it, or at least I prefer them to be snippets than anything. Lost did it really well because they did a fantastic job of making you like the characters, also adding suspense and mystery as to how they're all connected.

on the re watch of Lost i always fast forward off the island/flashback, but yeah at the time it was amazing

what i like about the way Person of interest does it is, you have to keep an eye on how far back they have gone, sometimes its a year, other times much much longer.......and that split second when they are about to go waaaaay back :thumbsu:

anyone remember Richard Alperts Lost episode........yeah that feeling :thumbsu::thumbsu:

How'd you go on the rewatch? Even though I consider Lost as one of my favourite shows (due to the feelingz I got when watching it), I'm struggling to rewatch it. Dno, might have to properly sit down and marathon, that might get me back into it.

I didn't really like the Person of Interest flashbacks tbh, yeah it was cool that they did it in different years, and in different time jumps so you kinda had to piece it together. But overall, just super boring.

i've actually done the re watch kinda weirdly

first rewatch was with my housemate who asked a million questions and it was while season 5 was still happening, so i didn't know the answers :D:D remember those days "what do the numbers" mean :D:D and Lostepedia sent both of us down 100 rabbit holes, he was live by the start of season 6 and we both watched it together

second re watch was the one where i fast forwarded off the island, i still think its the most intense, captivating television ever

Desmond
Locke
Linus
Ecko

so much quality, alls you've got to do is not think about how it ends, but remember how good getting there was

The killing and justification of it. Also the panic of someone finding out that it's him. It's not like I'm saying it's a copy of it but it has similar themes

Almost my favourite part of the show and while the stories in Sterling City can get tiring (the love story with that cop, Yawn!) it was good to still have the flashbacks happening.

Yeah I thought it was a decent enough opener and it'll be interesting to see how they go with the move from vigilante to hero. Its worked well so far not coming straight in as the Green Arrow superhero and tbh Oliver had a fair body count in the first season but I hope they don't tone it down too quickly and we end up with a hooded guy running around knocking people out and tying them up with increasingly stupid trick arrows.

Lol with that sheman thing at the end.

Looks like they are going down different path to the comic books.
