As crazy as it might be playing Rio at CF, I think he may have played there as a junior for a little bit??

Love the votes, no originality in sight ;)

So thats why he cost so much?? I hear Seaman was quite the Striker in under 10's, better get him down there if the chips are down next game

No worries, I was sick of you doing it after every Liverpool game.

Is anyone going to challenge us this season, or will we have to run away with the title again?? Come on Man and Liverpool, we can't have Chelsea finished second and you guys have to qualify in the early rounds for Champions league, that would be terrible ;)

I assure you the poo that has ommited from your mouth since you have joined this site is far worse than any of the "jokes" ScouseCat comes up with.

I will let you know when we get the treble, hopefully it's this year, we still have a chance, do you? :) Continue to live in the past like all Man U and Liverpool fans

Ah Pires! The perfect living example that you can put the ball in the back of the net by kicking it along the ground not blasting it into the crowd.

The best all round player in the EPL.

Are you in love with me??

Yes I am Diego, marry me now

By the way, 7 goals in 9 starts. Let's see teapot Jeffers do that.
1 from 1 so far sunshine, that would appear to be a better strike rate

Consistnecy, Sinkers_9, is the key.

How many aliases are you up to again?

Ah I see, you can't defend your soccer team at the present so you use your smarts to work out who I am, that must have taken some real intelligence, I mean McCartney5 and JMAC5, who would have guessed?

Why don't you post under your real name troll? :)

By the way what does "Consistnecy" mean?

Forlan - 1 goal every 6.7 appearances for Man United
Jeffers - 1 goal every 3 appearances for Everton, 1 in every 4.75 for Arsenal.

I still think that you're being harsh on Forlan because nearly all of his appearances last season (if not all of them) were off the subs bench - with plenty of those where he only had 10 to 15 minutes on the pitch.

And he got another goal last night.

Yeah, I did vanish after two losses. Gee, I must be a bandwagoner. As Shinners already pointed out, where were you when Arsenal were on a sucking streak? Or were you busy registering new aliases at the time?

Was intended more as a defence of Jeffers' record than a criticism of Forlan's. I would say that I have defended his purchase (while having the odd laugh at his expense) more than most (United fans excepted) on these boards.

I would also argue that while Forlan has come off the bench plenty of times (although he did have 7 starts last season), Jeffers would be in a similar boat with a lot of his early appearances for Everton being off the bench. He has also had plenty of injury problems, and I reckon he is a bit like Robbie Keane in that he just needs a regular spot in a decent team to show his true class.

I can't seem to remember you here making any posts defending Arsenal during their form slump.

At least Diego here defends United no matter what the circumstances are.

No one was bagging us, all the Man U fans were to concerned with how Liverpool were doing and vice versa

Hum....damn the BigFooty crash.....there was a thread discussing the United vs Arsenal match (hard to believe that the game would've passed without mention) and I don't recall you ever being a part of it.

Sorry, I was still trying to get over not being invited to the Charles Dickens with the rest of your crew
