Demons back Jim Stynes' cause

MELBOURNE has gifted the prime space on the front of its playing jumper to the Jim Stynes-led youth charity Reach.

"We are in the midst of some pretty important discussions and negotiations with our major sponsorship and we don't want to rush those ... so we thought here is an opportunity now to celebrate the relationship between Melbourne Football Club and Reach," Schwab said.

"And so during the pre-season or until such time as the arrangement is locked away, we will have the Reach logo on the chest of the Melbourne players."

Perfect stopgap. Lets hope there are legit 'discussions and negotiations' going on however.

Notice how much more red instead of pink the jumpers are too chaps. Good change.

Love the charity work, but have to agree with above... need that sponsor soon.

Cannot believe we can attract some of the best people you want in the football department yet we can't attract sponsors. Hopefully we get one soon, good to see Melbourne have something on the left side of their chest though...

Great idea, we get to promote the 'spot for sale' whils helping out a wotrthy cause & backing Jim all at the same time.
