BELLE BIZARRE 8.00 2.75
HARTLEYS DREAM 8.00 2.75
NICONERO 8.00 2.75
POLAR BEAR 9.00 3.00
CONFECTIONER 10.00 3.25
VAIN CRUSADER 10.00 3.25
IDYLLIC PRINCE 13.00 4.00
WILD TARGET 16.00 4.75
KIM INVADER 41.00 11.00
MR SANDGROPER 41.00 11.00

CAPE NORTH (3E) 101.00 26.00
MR DIAGNOSIS (4E) 151.00 38.50

Likin Hartley's Dream atm, always runs best when fresh and coming off a spell, which it showed two weeks ago when running second to Belle Bizarre by a nose. Also like Niconero, not too convinced by Confectioner and Polar Bear has taken longer to adapt to the conditions over here.

What are other people's thoughts and tips?

Confectioner on his best would be every chance. Why they persist in riding him back, I have no idea. It is blindingly obvious he goes best when ridden forward/midfield, such as the Craiglee last year, when he sat in the box seat and never looked like losing. From barrier 1 you'd think they would have to go forward.

However, the two to beat for mine are Hartley's Dream (outstanding run first up and exceptional second up record) and Niconero (classy horse but the handicapper has got to him).

Made a profit today at Sandown so chucked a pineapple on Niconero at 9's at TAB Sportsbet.

Great betting race; just like the Ballarat Cup was last week.

Anyone remember the last time S.Arnold rode 54.5?

seth
From AAP:

Heavyweight jockey Steven Arnold faces a tough week as he prepares for his lightest ride in three years on Polar Bear in next Saturday's Group One Railway Stakes at Ascot.
Arnold, 32, could have ridden at 55kg at Sandown on Saturday and needs to take another half kilo off his 180cm frame to ensure he is not overweight on the David Hayes-trained galloper who has 54.5kg in the Perth feature.
"It is not going to be easy but I'm really fit and I can do it," Arnold said.
Arnold said he rode Pentastic at 53.5kg when he finished fourth to Makybe Diva in the 2003 Melbourne Cup but can't remember another time in the last three years when he rode under 55kg

Hope u are right bud!

I backed Scenic Shot @ 14/1 in fixed odds & Belle Bizzare @ 16/1. Also got Ripped @ 41/1.

Scenis Shot is flying, will go close & will be even better suited in the Fruit N Veg over 1800m in a fortnight.

Stick with him & Oliver in the pigskin :thumbsu:

Belle Bizarre is a Perth horse, so don't know what you're talking about there. But look at last year's Fruit n' Veg, Railway and Perth cup. No interstate horses filled a place in those.
