Also richmond may not take him as they have a few small forwards already...eg: brown pettifer and co

Yeah that is one area that they have a lot of players in. Tambling can and Morton also does play a similar role to those two guys.
TBH I wouldn't have minded going after M Morton myself as he is super talented and is the type of goal kicking HF that we lack.

Ash McGrath has a very sick father and did not re-sign in case he would try and get back to WA. I am not sure he wants to leave Brisbane unless he wants to go home, but you never know

I remember us trying to chase him last yr or the year before. We chucked a lot of money at him as well but he was too committed on staying a lion.
If he needs to move back to WA because of his father then thats a very valid reason.
If Ash decided though that he just wants a fresh start at any different club, we should be seriously looking at him in the PSD but i highly doubt he would get passed Dickmond.

Brad Fisher.
I think murph is referring to more of an Ablett Jnr/Chapman/Cotchin type. Fisher plays more as a third tall although he is good around the ground and below his knees as well. I think one more mecurial small forward for depth and to keep Eddie honest wouldn't hurt.

in case you forgot, he has undergone a knee reconstruction this year, so it might take a while for him to get back to his top form, which at best is not outstanding.
