Pathetic pathetic pathetic. McPharlin declaring himself unfit at halftime cost us the game. His unwillingness to push through the slightest of injury leaves us a man down and our backline completely rooted. With Grover and Hayden missing, we couldn't afford McPHarlin to go down injured.

We were the only team to lose to Fitzroy then and we'll probably be the only team to lose to Melbourne all year.

I just saw us get belted by 10 goals in the second half.

We are now officially a bottom four side in 2008.

Worse, that was the most disgraceful half of football in our history.

I travel 600km every second week to support Freo for What? To be humiliated by what was served up today. I will not be attending another game this season. I was going to say I know how you feel ATM, but figured that would sound condescending so instead I'll just say that it looks like the Natanui / Rich quinella will be an all WA affair this season

Best of luck for the rest of the season and I hope for the sake of you Freo supporters that your team finds a way to turn this season around, if not to quite the same extent I hope my own boys turn around theirs.

Have a few beers or a couple of wines (maybe a bottle of scotch as well)and hope that it was all just a bad dream

while i am v disappointed i am not and doubt weather i will ever be ashamed of freo. the season has gone its time to evaluate every one on the list by giving them 3 or 4 consecutive. our list has no depth. we acheived nothing by recruiting from essendon (except solly). its going to take 3- 4 years to turn over our list . we must trade agressivally but i dont think we have to many aces to trade.
Give harvey time but i think more thought has to be put into team selction

Whilst this would feel like absolute balls right now there IS one possible positive.

This may just be a watershed moment in your clubs history. Games like that cost players careers and it's games like these where sentimentality goes out the window.

Be frank, Mcmanus isn't up to it. Solomon and Johnson aren't AFL calibre players in any side that wants to challenge for a flag. Tarrant is a downhill skiier. Bell whilst being the heart of Freo is getting on. Retire at seasons end. Murphy has gone backwards. There is just so much deadwood on that list.

Cull, kill, crush, destroy. Play kids, lose games but develop talent. The turnaround has gotta start now.
