Solomon was our best player I thought...even better than Pav
 
I am astounded that we lost that.

I didn't see the first half, had to take the misses out to brunch. I saw the half time score and then went to her place to watch the rest of the game. I just can't believe it, i'm lost for words.

Nah man I agree Solomon wasn't bad today. I was probably being a bit unfair on him. Problem is you have so many players who play just like him. List filler if you will.

I'm being ruthless. In fact I'm petitioning to take over Freo. My first move is to cull the entire side bar Pav and Palmer. is it wrong to delist 38?

Probably harsh but I think if you keep Solomon you then get rid of about 4 other blokes that potentially could play his role only better.

The entire club needs to be gutted and start again, this is the lowest point in Freo history and the only safe people should be Pav and Palmer.

Pav and Palmer captain and vc/Coach and assistant coach ;)

Harvey was diabolical today but some players like Murphy,Mark Johnson, Schammer and Mcmanus should not play again.
Tarrant had 2 touches in the second half, retire immediately.
Iwonder whether PAV regrets signing on for another couple of years.
Some supporters may not think it but we are in crisis.
We will play off with the egirls for the Nick Natunui cup, no doubt!

Dude this is the moment that makes or breaks Freo as a footy club.

How this loss is reacted to could well define the rest of Freo's footballing culture. Make a stand and begin the long arduous task of rebuilding from the ground up or accept it, be positive and stay shit for another 7 years.

That just about sums it up. It would be very embarrasing to lose like this. The Dees have played Finals before, but they've been struggling. I do actually feel for you supporters in some ways. I don't think its anything to do with the coach and I honestly think its the players. After such a good effort against Geelong the week before and to blow a 50 point lead against Melbourne must show the Lack of Confidence thats for sure. You guys are going to win again, just think of that. They just need to show a bit more anger, and agression next time.

Most people said and thought this after the Richmond debacle. Now its happened all over again.

I doubt it will be the last time as well.

But the sooner we get rid of Macca and Schammer and perhaps Mark Johnson (at least never play them in the same side again), the better off we will be.

Some of the kids were crap today too like Foster and Brock.

And Murphy is consistently useless and yet gets given chance after chance after chance to perform at the required level.

Time to give Kiwi or Keplar the same amount of chances as Murph gets and see what they can do.

I sure hope you are right at any rate and this is a watershed moment in our history from which we develop some backbone ----------- we've lacked one for pratically our entire history!!!

No one should ever knock Solly - he is constantly one of our better players and is the only one to constantly show spirit and heart and determination.

I couldn't agree more with this sentiment.

You have to start the cull now and be ruthless about it. Believe me, after almost a decade of garbage that my club dished up, I believe the hard decisions are the best ones for the future of your club.
