Even for the poms that was some pretty naff pre-match

England batting first

Mitchell Starc with the new ball.

Godammit why does channel 9 have to ruin it with their own commentary team? I quite like sitting up listening to bumble and co of a winter's evening.

Healy and Taylor. Thanks channel 9 you arseholes.

Relax....you only have them for 10 overs.

I loved the under the southern cross and come from a land down under.
Yeah that was great.

Loving the bright yellow caps on the Aussie fans too. Gives us a bit of a presence at the ground.

The ball in swinging more than a group of people who chuck their keys into the fruit bowl on any given Saturday night.
Actually don't reckon he bowls that well to left handers. Swings it away too much so that they don't play. Then he adjusts his line and it doesn't swing - goes down leg.

Hazelwood on the other hand... custom made for English conditions. Could have a bumper series.

Are you serious? This is tremendous news if true. What, then they'll switch to English commentary?

Nine’s expert commentary team will feature Mark Taylor, Ian Healy, Michael Slater, Shane Warne, Brett Lee, Michael Vaughan and David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd, with the network covering one of sport’s oldest rivalries with their own team for the first time in almost 20 years.

Great yeah so we've got the whole clown troupe over there. Arseholes. Aren't they content with ruining cricket coverage at home?
