I'm annoyed that I didn't trade the game in during the initial seven day period. Now that I've decided to get rid of it, I'll end up losing about $40 if I put it towards another game like Madden 10 or Arkham Asylum.

I might wait until the ODI series starts before I trade the game in. It might re-spark my interest in the game...

Might also be getting a patch...

The thing about Ashes 09 is it's rushed, I mean I know Codies tried to cash in on the Ashes hype, but it wasn't ready and that's one of the most disappointing aspects of the game .

FWIW too. Transmission have stated that there will be a patch for Ashes Cricket 2009!

Is planned for PC, PS3 and XBOX 360 and will fix main issues like Opposition AI, the run-out bug and bowler speeds among other things.

No real date has been set for when the patch will hit but the dev has said around mid-October.

I cbf getting the thread. But it's over at PlanetCricket for those wanting to know more.

The patch comes too late for me. Yesterday I traded in Ashes 2009 for DiRT 2 (one Codies game for another), which is much much better. Depending on how much this patch fixes and when it's released, I might re-purchase the game in the summer.

Yeah I doubt there will be a patch now, I haven't bought the game, but I think I need to, just love cricket games and have only got one on the PS2
Have played the game before and it was very buggy.
