I was in the car today listening on the ABC. They had Johnathon Agnew, Phil Tuffnell and Darren Lehman commentating.
It was bloody funny and entertaining, then I get home and turn on the TV and it’s Mathew Hayden, what a tosser.
I can’t workout why they continue with him.

I was listening to the radio around the same time, Tuffnell was very good.

As for England, I don't know they persist at all.

Tests mostly ran for the full 5 days too.

I do think it hurts the game of Test Cricket we currently don't really have a generational/iconic batsman who regularly makes tons at Test level (at quality opposition too, not just minnows like Bangladesh)

20/20 has a lot to answer for in that regard as I say.

We have guys like Travis Head who just made 123 off 83 to win a test match within 2 days.

As for England, I don't know they persist at all.

Because he is the most economical of our bowlers and of late, is taking wickets at an average of one for every 22 runs conceded.

He is the thorn in the side of Bazball.

Mrs Drover is away for the weekend, the last thing she said before she left was “enjoy the cricket”.
