I'll get the ball rolling...

Dennis Armfield... What do you know about him and was he worth pick 46?

Can't help you with that one, as I haven't seen him play. However, from what I have read, he is pretty quick, and uses the ball very well. Can win his own ball as well. Might be a very astute selection from WH and his team.

In your opinion what happened to Gourdis, Gaetner and Bellchambers?

Gourdis must have had a bad DC, as his footballing ability wouldn't really have been questioned. Perhaps clubs are wary, but will give him a go on the rookie list.

Bellchambers, i'm not to sure about. Like Gourdis, couldn't fault his ability, but from what I have heard, isn't the smartest bloke going around, and he could have tested badly at DC.

Gaertner is bottom aged, and has IMO been played out of postion for most of the year at Dandenong. He's a ruckman, but he's been played everywhere but there when I have seen the Stingrays. Furthermore, he just needs another 12 months of development. I'd expect him to be drafted next year.

Lack of depth in this draft was discussed pre draft, but has not seem to rated a mention on or post draft day...

Are selections 25 - 45 really that much weaker, as many seem to be happy with there selections in this range just from observations.

did clayton collard nominate for tha draft y'day??? if he did: why didn't clubs pick him up? and if he didn't: will clubs pick him up in the PSD?

HBF

are there any small forwards that are not solely crummers left that would warrant a rookie spot ?

None that I can think of. One player that crossed my mind was Rory Sloane from Eastern, but he's too young to be taken in the RD.

Haylen Kay from Gippsland isn't exactly a small forward, as he is 186cm, but he is good at ground level, and can push up onto the wing as well. Would need to work on his kicking a fair bit though.

Yes he did. Collards biggest problem is his attitude, and would have been the main reason why Fremantle cut him after just one year on their list. Will nominate for the PSD, and he might be a chance of getting back onto an AFL list from there.

Hang on a minute wasn't Gourdis outstanding at the draft camp.

I thought he topped the vertical leap & 20m sprint.

Isn't the knock on his kicking?

I only saw him play in the WA v Vic match & didn't pick up on his kicking.

HBF,
You were keen on Mitch Farmer. Is Steven Browne in this mould ? If so who is the better of the two in your opinion?

Would have been happy with either Farmer or Browne at #36. Hard to say who is better, as I have only seen Browne at the Champs, whereas, I have seen Farmer a fair bit playing for Calder.

Browne is a better overhead than Farmer, and had a very very good draft camp. Plays mainly on the HBF, with stints in the midfield. Farmer is a little more versatile, in that he can play forward as well. Hard to split.

Not that I am aware TG. Gourdis is one of the more interesting ones of the draft. Most watchers had him in there top 30, so not getting selected is a bit of a surprise. I can only think that he may not have interviewed well at DC.
