Is it alright to keep Waters/Goose as keepers, at least until crunch time? Only have 7 trades left, and Cunnington, Waters and Goose are the only improvements I can see. I'm almost certain I'll keep one (probably Goose), but if I wanted to, could I keep both?

I think you could. Upgrading Cunnington needs to be your priority.

You might be forced to keep both Waters and Maguire. Later in the season if you've had a good run with injuries then you might be able to afford to sideways trade one of them. But most people will have at least one of them in their final team, so having both in your final team isn't that bad.

The only problem could be if Waters starts playing permanantly in the forward line, where his scores seem to suffer.

How does trading work in finals?

My first season playing.. and I can't find anywhere on the supercoach site that tells me how many trades you can make in a finals round..someone told me you can make as many as you want, but I can't confirm it


pretty much banking on being able to trade whatever I want because atm I'm averaging 2200 which isn't that bad but nowhere good enough to win my league... I've got 10 trades and 5 guys on the bench who are well over 300,000... so come finals I want to trade them for 83k guys and then make upgrades all over the field

sc finishes in at the end of then home and away games and you don't get any extra trades for your league finals as it's still part of the regular season

same as for the rest of the season i.e. 2 per round (providing you have any left at that stage)

Gilbee is alright value as well but a bit more risky since he can cop tags and goes missing for periods but when his firing his firing.

I was just doing emergencies and I clicked on both bench defenders and this happened. Anyone been able to do this? Even when I switched Waters to the bench it stayed like that.

One of our SCE boys had this happen to him the other week. Whether it would work if you had two defenders scoring donuts is another thing altogether.

I'll try that after lockout but I think it will just revert back to 3. Would be cool if I could have an emergency in each position though.

But does anybody know what happens when a player is a late withdrawal (Jonathan Brown) and you have 2 foward emergencies selected (Rockliff & Watts). Which score gets taken for the emergency? Is it the highest scorer?

What are the rules on SC for players dropped this weekend? I have Medhurst starting but he has been dropped, I have Hendersen as an emergency (already played) will he come in to scoring or is it tough t***ies for me?

If you have a scoring emergency (Henderson) they will cover the non playing player (Medhurst). Not sure if a new thread was needed however.
