Ok don't know if i am in the right spot but can someone help me, where can i find the ins and outs on the web for every team so i can do my supercoach....
cheers

Stickied in this forum is the thread 'Round 1 Teams'.

All the other teams will be added once they become available at around 5pm today.

Does SC get a freako newsletter this year ?

Does anyone know if SC will be getting the newsletter this year or will it just be DT ?

Am I the only one that thinks that Gilbee and Dangerfield are overrated in terms of Supercoach players?
I agree, especially with Dangerfield. He'll be very handy, but is he a keeper who's going to score you 90-100 points every week, or is he going to make you significant cash compared to others? I'd think neither.

A different random question, which I'm not sure if it's been discussed in other threads much or not, but has anyone given any thought to the impact that a 17th team coming in will have on Fantasy Footy games next year. One team will have a bye each week, there will be an enormous amount of Gold Coast rookies on offer, etc, etc. Surely it will radically change SuperCoach.

Did pretty well in his first start in a team who got flogged. 11 contested possessions from memory certainly helps. :thumbsu:

Can only improve.

Yeah, he had a great 93 point game and I'm sure he'll have a good year, but to me he's a player who's going to be neither here nor there. Just surprises me a bit that he's in 26% of teams when there are other options available (e.g. Medhurst) at around the same price.

Yeah but the difference between Dangerfield and Medhurst is that Medhurst always has to kick his 3-4 goals to get anywhere near 100 points while Dangerfield doesn't. ;)

Thats why I picked Dangerfield over Medhurst for. :thumbsu:

Medhurst when he averaged 90+ was not kicking 4 goals a game he averaged 2.The thing with Medhurst is he can score 130+ if he has a great game where Dangerfield doesn't.The good thing about dangerfield is his side has a very easy run the first few rounds which will make life easier for him.

Medders is a much safer option imo.

who is the best player around $400k i got A.Schnider thinking
he is with the saints he will get good points but he is hopeless
i need someone that will get at least 80 or more per week
any idea's.

Thanks in advance:thumbsu:

ok so i need some help with robbie gray, i have the feeling he is going to be consistently hampered by these injuries. So i can trade him for either shannon byrnes or Buddy Franklin(which one more reliable?) or i can trade him for eddie betts and packet 70k. AND lastly i could trade him for Jack Zeibel and pocket around 200k to upgrade say a martin to an ablett later in the season.

what do i do?

Very small upside for Medhurst. Even if his All-Australian year when he kicked 50 goals, he only averaged 88. That is as good as it will get (and it will probably never get that good again, considering 60 is the next best average he has ever had).

Dangerfield has played 23 games before this year and already averaged 63 last year. This year he should play 22 more, in a good side, and get further time in the midfield. Kid gets the contested footy, which is rated in SuperCoach. Can only go up.

If Medhurst gets anywhere near 88, I'll be happy. Could net me a tasty upgrade, or a tasty cheap keeper. I woulda picked Dangerfield, but outta cash.

Arrrgh... Rockliff named as an EMG again! Very frustrating. It is tempting me to actually trade early and get PODS. I know as soon as I trade out Rockliff for PODS, Rockliff will come in the round following and be absolutely ridiculous and do a Barlow on me tho! What do you guys think?

I know it could be much of a muchness being potentially only 1 game difference (assuming both Rockliff & pod's are named next week). How many are staying on the Rockliff train? DO you see much of a difference between Pods & Rock'ers?

Pods isn't guaranteed a game either though.

Don't do it yet, doubt you need it anyway. Maybe next week.

Yeah, cheers thomas... talked me back from the edge :p

I just worked myself up after seeing the line ups for Bris/Carl game and have been hearing how good Pod's is going...

Was dead certain Voss had some brains (after seeing Rockliff preseason) and would put him in the side this week... Just talked myself into it & it didn't happen. But yeah, it's very early on and I guess I'll just see what unfolds over the next week or so. At the very least, see if pod's gets a game this week & if so how he goes.

I still think Medhurst is a good pick in SC, he is a little cheaper then Danger but I can see them both getting to around the same average in the end. Medhurst only has one good season to date but what he did that season is not unachievable again, if you look back to his earlier days he has kicked around 48 goals one season, 43 another so the 50 goals is not really a one off. The thing he had in 08 which he did not have in his previous seasons or in 09 was his fitness tank, he came to Collingwood in not the greatest of shape (something in which he had to worked hard to improve on). In 08 we saw what he could do with a better tank such as pushing up the ground to get more of the ball along with still be dangerous around the goals. In 09 he was very injury hampered which stopped that. If you picked him this season I believe it has to be due to you believing that he has got that tank back, which should then see him get back to his 08 scoring. At a price average of 60 if he could increase that anywhere near 85 I would be very happy with that, you can then decide if you want to make a straight swap to a fallen star or if you want to keep him. A 25 point increase is huge and something I would take if I believed he could reach it.

I do agree that Dangerfield has around the same amount of chance of reaching this but its not like he is the safest pick either, he has his own injury scares pretty often which can sometimes damage his scores which makes him risky.

I think they are around the same risk level so really its what your gut tells you to do (or in my case, pick them both in your team at the start of the year and hope for the best:))

I have A.Raines who's about 200k he only got 56 points last week
do i leave him on or put on B.Waters who scored 78 points
and is cheaper but i think Raines is better.

Does anyone find it funny that Kosi and Wells are in the AFL advertisement with the bull and the ute and include all the stars (Ablett, Judd, Cooney, Pavlich etc)?

How.... DARE YOU TALK KOZI DOWN LIKE THAT!? HOW DARE YOU!!?

Seriously though, I did always think Kozi was outta place. By the way, is that Chornes in the ring with Brownie? All I really see is the Port shirt.

And Kozi? Has potential (which is something I shouldn't be saying about someone of his experience). If he could find some sort of consistent form, he'd be great. Oh well...
