Who do i bench?
Yet to start Waters , only started Maguire this week, I like hayden because has the ability to score big and Hunt and Ladson are gonna be consistant most weeks.

Got the same backline as you lemon chicken except swap Gram and Hayden for Drummond and Hurn. Once Hurn returns I am also not sure on who to bench. Maguire and Waters were originally only cash cows for the bench but they have prduced more then Ladson and Hunt so far.

- Gram, Malceski, Hayden. + Goddard, MacDonald, Silvagni.

I've been benching Silvagni and Maguire until I took the plunge last week and benched Ladson instead. My suggestion would be to bench Hunt and Ladson, neither seem likely to pull out larger numbers than Maguire or Waters as they all seem pretty consistent to date.

Get Pav/Brown/RO'k if you already have them Higgins or Rioli have been popular picks, or you can sit on it for a week and pick up Didak, Harvey or Leon Davis who should drop some value. Chappy worth a look but his hammy is a risk and Goodes tends to boom latter on in the season. They are the most obvious choices but there are some unique options out there.

I took Higgins and saved myself 115k ad that to your 189k and in a couple of weeks you could upgrade, say Maguire to Goddard or Martin to Selwood (for eg)

I could see them giving out free trades for the week to trade the players out that aren't playing or something else stupid like that.

I'm hoping for extra bench players (maybe one per slot), and you've got to plan around not having too many out in one position for a given week. It'd definitely add a tactical element to it.

Try using Too Serious, using the calculator, you can enter in a future score and see the players predicted price.

It will obviously give 40 new players to pick from and maybe 30 of them new faces so that will be intresting, have to jump on Karmichael But it will be wierd with the bye game. Dont know what they are going to do, they may have to change the format, maybe more trades, a roling lockout, more subs, more cash will be interesting.

More trades maybe. Not that I think its really needed. You know when the byes are and can plan around it

Nah well, they arnt going to have 32 rounds so some teams will have 1 bye while 6-8 teams will have 2 (bassed on 22-24 round season). It will be unfair, the have to do something, I think extra subs will be the go. Im gunna hate the bye so much next season, especially if the tigers have 2.

Uhh, what? All teams will have the same number of byes, no two ways about it. And they don't have to do anything. Nothing in SC is 'unfair' when it applies equally to everyone and the rules are known from day 1.

Do you mean AFL teams or SC teams? They'll have to run it so every team gets two byes, otherwise it's even more blatantly unfair than usual. You'll just see some rounds have only seven games with three teams having a bye that round.

Yeah man just thought about that after I posted it haha. NRL did it a little while ago IIRC.

I do think something will be done, only because of leagues and stuff. There will be enough people out there angry and whingy about it.
