My question is do you think social media has had a negitive effect on the world today more so then climate change and some of the real big issues talked about in the world. I say this because I actually do. I think the increase in social media and social sharing apps has created a avalanche of fake information through home grown websites and articles has created this massive negitive effect in people in the way they think. Social media has had such a negitive effect on a lot of people that anxiety and depression is at a all time high. I say this as it doesn't really gets discussed and really should be more so then climate change. Social media is worst then the hole in the ozone layer and has caused far more damage to people. Not only social media but media especially news reporting in general has increased to make it even worse. Too much info we don't need is making people go crazy if they already haven't. I just think a lot of horrible stuff thats going on in the world today social media sharing and media outlets has played a huge part in it.
Whats your opinion on the impact of media/social media. It's a huge issue for mine and worse then Climate Change.
