Eh, that's a pretty shitty thing you've done to be honest - would never ask for my money back after a purchase from a mate. You joke over a beer that he stitched you up, you don't inquire about his return policy...

If he hadn't spent the money no harm done I guess, but obviously he had so you should have cut your loses then, not added debt that I'm sure he never wanted.

If someone owed you $150 say......

They hadnt paid you back in a month and they work in the same building as you.

What do you think would be the best way to ask for the money ?
$150, wouldnt be a tight arse, just let it go and never have anything to do with him again. Not worth the hassle.

Disagree, $150 is a decent amount of money. I'd want 50 bucks back if I loaned it to someone.
Oops, I left out the word "not"!!!!

Wanting $150 of your own money back is NOT being a tight arse.

Reminds me of a couple I used to live with. And the guy owned the house they didn't have to pay rent. Turned out they were heroin/other crap addicts. Oh I'll tell the whole story one day when I can be assed typing it. For the most part they did pay me back but **** they were ****wit losers.

$150 is tight arse? WTF? At what sum of money would you begin chasing up their debt?
