That'd be a good idea. His self-imposed prison sentence can be considered a somewhat appropraite sentence (altho the way he bangs on about it suggests it hasn't taught him much), and he might quit playing up if he is no longer under the sword...? Maybe? If you ignore what his colleagues have said?
 
When are the Australian government going to do something, by lifting a finger to protect the rights & sanctity of one of it's own citizens....Who has already been cleared in a U.N court of law of any wrong doing?

To say that our government is both owned & corrupted by the criminal elitist establishment, is an understatement.

citizens of peace and gratitude.. it is one man agains a multitude of miscreants who basically have waged war against it's citizens and well
the 'lad' hasn't done anything other than protest his own peace and self fortitude of his own sentiments...

he has always waged war of a unique kind with it always being about truth and obvious war against those who dislike
staging everything against that which is debasing mankind..

He worked with the Russians to release information that was intended to disrupt a foreign election, so I'm well over hearing about his virtues. He's a political player.

He then breached his bail conditions and fled the jurisdiction, which is a whole new offence. Let's see if the US can mount a case to even extradite him.

Best case scenario is he deported here and we spend a month having him bob up on news shows and the university speaking circuit.

The fact you state this as somehow unequivocally proven , merely says to me what a slave to the parochial Liberal MSM you are.....Unthinking to the last.

Assange is an independent publisher, who is interested in exposing the truth about what our governments are up to....which is supposedly the job of the Fourth Estate, as the front-line protectors & defenders of a Democracy against tyranny.....A job the western MSM has thoroughly reneged on, in getting into bed with the Govt/corporate/intel nexus, to scupper any notion of an independent free press.

When you hate the truth, you hate the truth tellers.....and the truth about U.S politics & our Western governments is indeed ugly & an eye-sore.....Thank God for Julian Assange having the courage to expose that inner ugliness.

I'm certainly not of the view he should rot in a US prison, far from it, but he skipped bail and could be charged with contempt of court. That's not a political decision, that's the law.

And the fact our government is doing nothing to defend & protect one of it's own citizens, illegally & unconstitutionally silenced & detained is an absolute disgrace & blight on any claims it has to sovereignty or upholding the Democratic process.
