Hansen too.If Russell and Clarke survive, we're still a joke.
How can they all be highly regarded when they join us and laughing stocks who must be fired a few seasons later? I find it nigh on impossible to have any sense of how Assistant Coaches are performing and what impact they’re having, good or bad.

There are names out there already to potentially join us - see who jumps on board. Is anyone interested? Voss could be sacked (or not re signed) next year, I’d suggest there will be a lot of tentative prospects out there giving us a wide berth.
How can Hamill be the reason we were shit, when our defence was the only area that held up? (Happy he’s gone btw)
If Ashley (John Barker) Hansen, who coached game day and whose game plan we played, plus his other assistant mates stay.
Then my faith in Wright, being the great white hope would be shot.
I'm not blaming Hamill for this but your defence should hold up even better than it did when you flood so many numbers back. We just played a very defensive game style and so our defence looked half decent. How can Hamill be the reason we were shit, when our defence was the only area that held up? (Happy he’s gone btw)

Hamill might not have been the reason we were shite but he definitely had to go.
Maybe there were other attributes that might not have been conducive to the relationship continuing. If he wasn't contributing to us being shit, why would he def need to be let go?

These two are probably the main reason we are rubbish, especially Russell. If Russell and Clarke survive, we're still a joke.
There's a job for 3 full time skills coaches at our clubThere is a place in our program for skills mentoring. It is hard to believe that it would constitute a full time role.
. We could even offer overtime to help them try and get us to a decent level. Not Mark Williams though.John Barker was the Aint’s John Barker equivalent. Hawthorn and the Aint’s were laughing at us when we “poached” him.Hamill was Stains' John Barker equivalent before he came back to us
you betRussell still there?
So we build up a few, only to have the good ones poached walked out because of potential other issues within the club (politics/agendas). That's not positive. Letting good players walk out damages the fabric, I think Richmond/Hawks were impacted as a club off field and culturally a bit by letting some senior players move on just to get some 'picks'. Geelong and Pies with their old fogies still show what can be done if better equipped in the club and stability, one ripple in the pond such as McRae's comments in recent times can shake things significantly.Let me put up a counter to some of the more negative comments.
We are actually currently receiving external market validation that some things at the club are going well:
Lonergan has been poached by Geelong. Says to me there are admirers of our development work.
Then there are player trades. Owies was the first player in years who departed for more than we secured him for. This year you can already lock in TDK and JSOS as players who will fetch more in return for us than what we drafted them for.
These moves present as evidence to me there are some things being done well at the footy club. Now to fix up the areas which are holding us back!
You can choose glass half full or glass half empty, JJ. I’m not saying you have to choose glass half full. But I’m going to look on some of these developments as positives that not all is crook in Tullarook. So we build up a few, only to have the good ones poached walked out because of potential other issues within the club (politics/agendas). What impact did GW comment on our list not being good enough have to the group?
yep keep Power and KreuzerPower should be given a more senior role like his work with the VFL side, kept them competitive with limited access to Carlton listed players.
