You haven't missed anything, I put up Sanderson's name as I wasn't sure what his contract status was & think he would be a good sounding board for Voss.

It was mooted he may be reused at Collingwood in another role, but likely not part of assistants for new coach. So likely available.

The more premiership medalions they come with the better. Then, finally, our blokes will be able to look coaches in the eye who of have climbed the mountain either as players or as assistants. Voss Power Lappin Scarlett and McQualter would be a dream team in that respect.

In addition to assistant coaches need to make sure the broader coaching support team is top quality. This includes data and football strategist etc. They don't often get spoken about by the punters but are highly valued members of the team these days.

“It has been an incredible journey, much more than I could ever have hoped for when I joined the club,” Scarlett said.
“I have enjoyed coaching, but the time is right to take a break'.
