Would Nathan Jones be someone worth going after?
Captain of the club, very good onballer and has seen first hand what it takes to get a team go from crap, to potential to Premiers

Can’t find the link now, but I thought I read that Betts was (or was considering) moving in to an AFL community development role.
I think he might have also completed a teaching degree, so another career path is in wait there.
Someone with his experience, reputation and community standing wouldn’t be short on options; I’d be surprised if he ended up in ‘just’ a player development role at Carlton.

He's one of Juddy's best mates as well.Would Nathan Jones be someone worth going after?

Would the general consensus be that we are looking to unveil our whole assistant coaching panel together rather than on an ad hoc basis? Might be one that we are trying to shake loose from elsewhere delaying things a bit?
For a "rudderless" club we haven't done too badly of late, acknowledged best administrator in the comp, an experienced driven coach who is a good media performer, signature of the best available player (who fits our needs) in the trade period. Would be nice to finish up with an experienced, diverse coaching panel.
I think there's a pretty good chance that's how it goes down.
Sayers showed early that he's not going to have us dancing to the media's beat. They like their news dripfed to keep the news cycle moving, an update here, another there.
Announcing our coaching panel in one go denies them that, reinforces that just because people aren't hearing about every little move we make that doesn't mean we're not moving, and presents the club as united and organised.
Question is....could we pull it off. Not only do we need to stop the leaks from our end, but we also need to ensure the new assistants (or their families...) don't let it slip, nor the clubs they're currently employed with, who they would need to inform of their intent to leave.
Bryce Gibbs is a top end development coach.
He is destined to go into coaching.

Welcome John Barker 2.0Aaron Hamill our backline coach according to Twomey
Thanks for posting this. Not sure what to think. Liked Hamill's toughness as a player but I am not jumping up and down at the moment. If true, I am hoping for someone else who is known for tactical nous... Shall wait and see what unfolds...Aaron Hamill our backline coach according to Twomey
