I don't think it is a rumour as I have not heard it elsewhere.

It is a logical inference drawn from the fact it is now mid October and our panel is still not complete despite moving Hart and Hocking some time ago and every other team has now finished playing 2 weeks ago.

It's not a logical inference at all, it is pure conjecture.

I don't think he is anywhere near as bad as what most think. He's just the coach that seems to cop it more than the rest and I'm not entirely sure why when we've been pretty ordinary across the board the last 2 seasons.

You are probably right. It is very difficult, if not impossible, to assess the performance of an assistant coach from the outside.

Brisbane did sack him though.

Brisbane sacked him and then got Leppa and probably realised Voss wasn't all that bad after all.

They sacked him because they thought they had Roo's in the bag. People forget they just missed finals the year he got sacked and he had them trending upwards after the 'Crazy Vossy' saga which was done drag the last remnants out of an ageing list clinging on to their three-peat era.

Yes, there may be nothing to leak but if I was a potential recruit who is currently employed at another AFL club I'd be very annoyed about the club public announcing that I'd been interviewed just to keep some pants wetting fans happy.

Tis good. Every Tom Dick & Rucci knew what was going on at Port, but not any more. Its a needs to know basis now and if the Club wants you to know, you will be told.... one way or the other..
