Surjan failed miserably coaching the Academy a few years ago. He should be nowhere near our AFL side.

There would be no need to hold that announcement back. Sure, keep it out of trade week. So maybe next week. Who nose? ;)

I would say we are waiting for Montgomery's non compete clause to end with the Western Bulldogs, so we should probably expect an announcement on November 1st - this is a complete guess though, me nose nothing.

He is coaching the WA U/18 kids in a full development role similar to what Sticks Phillips has been doing with the SA U/18 kids for the last decade or so. Sticks also works with the U/16 kids. Not sure if he also coaches them at the U/16 championships like he does with the U/18's.

Burns is at Collingwood now I think. From what Ive heard he wouldnt be involved with Port when there are members of a certain Studley family there.

You can't argue with his logic though. Carlton aren't a ratbag organisation for sacking Ratten with still a year on his contract because he is a useless coach but Portz. :rolleyes:

If that is the case, Ken will put his first nail into his coaching coffin. He needs experience in the box with a new senior assistant. Perhaps they will announce during the formal announcement of China game. Ya know, a big launch of 2017 for the club. Only can hope....
