Just looked. Four of the eight were when he was still a teenager. 2 wins, a loss and 5 draws in games involving Messi.

Decent record against a great team, but meh.

How about going down as the team he hated playing against the most, is that something to be proud of?

I love the fact that we can(or did) match it with arguable the best team on the planet.
You ignored what I meant.

Him not scoring against Chelsea means **** all in the grand scheme of things.

I'm sure there is a team Maradona or Pele didn't score against.... does it matter now?

The meaning of all this is very apparent cruyffy. I can't believe no one has said this yet.

It means that typeclub was right all along. This is now proof.

Messi is shit.

If people are going to post a ******* stupid meme they deserve any shit that comes their way.
How is it stupid? If we played them twice and he didn't score then fair enough, I would cop all of that. But we've played them 8 times. I'm fairly certain we'd be the only club in the world that can boast such a stat. Usually after two or three matches at most he will score against you.

Like I said, hardly a blight on his career nor will it matter when he retires.

Fair enough, my point was that if you can shut down a teams best player you have a better chance to beat them, us stopping Messi scoring played a pretty big part in winning the CL. I'm happy to be proud of that. No ones saying Messi's shit or it makes him a worse player.

But moving on.

Highlights for me include:

The touches at 1.11 and especially at 1.14, and again at 1.19
1.34, sublime. 1.43. Oh boy.
The series of roulette's from 2.06 to 2.15
The goals from 3.40 to 7.05
Goal at 3.49 is holy shit worthy.
Love the goal at 4.11
Not much needs to be said about the CL volley
Goal at 4.32 is probably my favourite.
The touch at 5.59 is incredible.
6.29 is just pure awesome.
8.00. Wow.

It is actually ridiculous at how good he was shooting at from long range and on his "weaker" left foot.

So you celebrate a good result. That pic is celebrating keeping Messi scoreless, even in games you lost. Seems weird to me.
