Assuming CA doesn't Kowtow to ACA players union what could the ashes team look like?

The game is bigger than any individual or team ...

I reflect back on the Packer years and a time when Australia decided to start again.

Cricket in Australia would survive a purge of top players and as Warner said he is quite happy to go the T20 circuit and go earn millions.

Yes we would struggle for a couple of years but we would rebuild.

Setting aside for a moment whose side you are on in this:

I understand there are players on individual contracts outside of those eager for as much as they can get.

Moises Henriques was mentioned as one who could still play for Australia, who else would be eligible?

Whoever is a member of the ACA - including Henriques - would not be available, and to suggest as such actually suggests a lack of understanding of the MOU issue.

The test players are about to become unemployed because they're fighting for the state players. Any state player who would accept a call up is worse than a scab, and would spend the rest of their life being made to regret accepting a meaningless cap.

If there's no MOU, there won't be an Ashes. The players know though that it won't come down to that - CA has to cave before then.

Actually Henriques situation is a bit different because he is actually already contracted for 2017/18.

None of us know the details of the contract but it is entirely possible that it could be enforceable.
