On the other hand.
A guy who got 'spiritual inspiration' like Cayce plotted down what post-2012 Earth maps will look like.
It's pretty depressing.
Can see the full large scale region by region maps here...

Conspiracy theories can be very interesting, but at the end of the day, the 'cant be ****ed' mindframe is my POV. No doubt you read some very strong arguments and cases for why a conspiracy must hold true, but the thing that irks me is that they never get proven as true or false. I like having problems solved.

So what does all that mean? I know nothing about Elenin, how does this comet affect us/?

Basically, judging from the rundown in that video, the theory is that whenever the so called comet's orbit is found to be in alignment with the Earth and the Sun, the gravitational pull from the comet becomes so strong on the Earth that it is causing these modern day catastrophes - earthquakes, tsunamis etc.

If it is indeed 80 times the mass of Jupiter, one can only assume it's own gravitational pull will be strong. Fast forward to September 26, 2011, when the Sun, Comet and Earth are in alignment and closest to each other, with the Sun's gravitational pull coupled with that of the comet, you could imagine the effects would be massive!

You must check out the video above to understand it fully, but damn it sounds very plausible and is seemingly some scary shit. I'm in no way an astrologer, only having a base knowledge of science, but after watching that it genuinely sent chills up my spine.

I fear most for those countries situated on or near a fault line as, if this is true, shit is going to be messy! :(

Cheers for the run down Walker. Quite interesting and very scary!

And sorry about not watching the video. I'm living in the iceage at the moment in the UK using pre-paid internet. So saving a bit of data by avoiding YT vids.

Yup, i've always remembered how big the sun actually was from primary school. A teacher once said that if the sun was the size of a basketball, the earth would be the size of a grain of sand. jupiter a golf ball iirc.

Geez that was an interesting video. It is a bit concerning that NASA didn't hasn't released the size/weight etc of Elenin. Regardless, I'll be noting down those dates that the speaker stated in the video just to see if anything big happens.
