What exactly would a pole shift do to the planet? Would it basically produce worldwide natural disasters on a humongous scale?

Geez that was an interesting video. It is a bit concerning that NASA didn't hasn't released the size/weight etc of Elenin. Regardless, I'll be noting down those dates that the speaker stated in the video just to see if anything big happens.

Thanks for posting that, i love looking at the sizes of things in the universe and working out it's size relative to earth.

Given you posted that pic i have another one for you. If our whole solar system was the size of a spec (too tiny to see) relative to that spec the distance to the milky way would be larger than the circumf of outta melbourne to frankston. And the whole universe would include the orbit of Mars.

The milky way is the one that stumped me because given that we're in that galaxy i would have thought we'd be alot closer.

ps. conspiracy theories, i don't know how anyone can be bothered with them. Things are interesting enough.

There's a lot about it that cannot be ignored, like how they were given knowledge of our solar system and the detail is exact as we now know. Think Galileo fighting to contend everything revolves around the Sun and being persecuted a mere few centuries ago.

The DNA evidence we have for evolution is really well documented today - not to mention the slow and well documented evolution of hominins. There are vast amounts of redundant/fossilised DNA within our genome that suggests we wernt genetically engineered... (Unless that's what they want us to believe!!!!)

it does seem all too perfect to be honest and the guy hocking off his silver website during the video really crapped on his credibility (end of the world dude, why are you worried about selling silver?)

it makes perfect sense and imo the only way it can be faked is if the guy just plugged in his own data to make it look good. Has anybody gone and played with the software themselves to see if they produce the same outcome?

Either way I've always had a small interest of other bodys gravational pulls effects on earth so something like this really gets my attention. When watching the video the first thing I though when I saw how close it got to earth was what effect would it have on our orbit? What are the chances of it draging us slightly off course?

If it is going to come that close to Earth and is of decent size, there will def be effects. There will also def be debris in its tracks, I cant imagine how we would get out of the way of that

Actually, I wouldn't. At least, not that particular story. Seriously, totally unrelated aliens just happening to, firstly, have sperm, secondly, be humanoid, thirdly, have DNA (and not some alien analogue), and finally, have sperm that could properly combine with the ova of pre-humans, is so incredibly unlikely, especially given that we have plenty of evidence that no intervention was needed between pre-humans and humans, that it's probably equally likely that God exists.

I'll take standard evolutionary theory any day.

serpo is good stuff, i am a sucker for extraterrestrial life and fall into to the trap of being open minded to related conspiracy theories or bs easily, read through to chapter 7 in one setting and intend on finishing it. Got any more similar sites?
