Hey guys doing this game at school where you start with 50k. Currently my group is about 50,250 after a couple of weeks. Any tips on what to but and when to sell?

Uhm it was last year I have prob forgotten a few, I know I had newcrest, oil search, woolworths, woodside, jb hifi, santos.

You can't start doing this now can you? I'm looking at getting into share and thought the game would be a good place to start.

When I did it in year 12 a couple years ago the game opened in April and September. There is a students game and a regular game... well there was a couple years ago.

I am doing this for shits and giggles at the moment. Currently sitting on roughly 51.5k. Did a bit of research last friday night and decided i was gonna buy AOE. Then on Monday morning before trading opened they got a takeover bid from Shell and went through the roof. Missed out big time on that one as it probably would have put me 5k higher. Ah well you get that.

I'm on 52.4k, bought AOE after the takover offer as there will be an nicreased offer IMO. Rio has been on fire and I dare say it's the reason the leaders are killing it.

on touch over 57K, lucky that i was on Arrow from start, bought at $3.66, went to $3.48 before takeover bid, but my laptop packed it in and wasn't able to sell like had planned that morning.
