No worries fellas. Just a tip though when someone new comes in with a bit of inside info you wouldn't want to scare them off in 5 minutes like you nearly did.
Yeah obviously absolutely rapt, young osc didnt even have an inkling of a clue that we'd be picking him up.
Seems like a goer. Extremely keen to see how he turns out.

Ha, we scared Taylor Garner's mum off pretty quick, or maybe the club did. :D

Josh Williams, Shaun Atley, Oscar Junker top three for 10 metre sprint for the club.
I agree he is impressive and an opposition recruiter i know talked him up. He said he does impressive things but lacks consistency but he has good qualities. Needs to put on a few kilos but will develop into a good size mid.

Yeah well he played for the western jets who were pretty bad. He was thrown around every position every game, it made it a bit hard to be consistent.
I laughed when I heard Brett Anderson a so called draft expert doing the round up of every clubs draftees. He said when it came to Oscar he said he he's slow and thats all he said.

It's cool. They're good eggs.

The only one you have to watch out for is the forum's resident sociopath, shintemaster. Bloke is evil incarnate.

He's definitely above average at his height in terms of speed and general mobility, moves like a midfielder at times. Strength is less good, the guy is a string bean at the moment but luckily that's a lot easier to develop than other facets of the game. I think the most exciting thing about Larks is that even at about 55kg his contested marking was a standout trait @ U18 level, which bodes very well for what he could become given a few years to develop.
EDIT: wrong bloke haha but I'll leave the comment

Welcome to the NM BF Board, Excellence. I hope Oscar has a long and successful career at the greatest AFL club; North Melbourne!

Don't worry Excellence, we're a very fair-minded bunch around here. We don't just savage opposition supporters, we're just as happy to eat our own. :drunk:

Just some quick observations from open training yesterday:
- Higgins, Wood, Taz and Lmac the standouts of the session
- Ben Brown, Jy Simpkin and I think Matthew Taylor were doing circuit training. Bike, battle rope, push ups, med ball.
- Scotty T wont be back for awhile. Could barely walk
- Marley was good in the contested drills but made so terrible turnovers during match simulation
- Cunners looks a bit slimmer. Hopefully he can return to BnF form
- Good to see the young leaders taking over. JZ Taz and JMac controlled the session
- Atley seems to have finally moved to the midfield. Didnt look out of place. Provided good spread and an exit option
- Turner provided a heap of forward pressure. Will make an impact this season
- Garner looks big but was restricted to bag work
- Majak provided excellent follow up work in the ruck and beat every backman easily when he went to FF
- Dont like to pot players but disapointments were prob Lachie Spits and EVW

How did wood look? Haven't heard much about him from the few training observations

Any reports on Mitch Hibberd? Cheers.

Thanks for the update. Given the lack of joy from Thompson and EVW, any thoughts on Nielson, Durdin or Hibberd?
Neilson looks strong as was breaking tackles in some quick hands drills, durdin took some nice marks playing back in Mach practice and hibberd did some ok things but was not a standout. With hibberd I reckon he needs something special to push for seniors. He is a decent size, good fitness and the best thing is that as a kid barracked for north
