Look we are probably doing the right thing but I'd rather we use the sink or swim mentality that other teams choose to go with. Our players get to year 3 and rarely have they debuted which IMO reinforces the negative rhetoric we have to endure re: our team.

A player such as Simpkin is already more skilful than 99% of the senior team, what the **** is he going to learn at Avalon?

Throw him in the deep end and watch him swim his way out of trouble.
I agree, if he is fit, I'd have in straight in the ones. He needs to be physically right though. All the bravado in the world won't help him if his legs not right and he breaks down.

So which is it, none of them, or EVW?

I mean, he should of had his chance and had a few games under his belt. Why would you play Brad McKenzie if you are just going to cut him. Why wouldn't you play your young fellas. These are not smart choices.
Bread McKenzie found it all too hard. Dominated add a kid and could not deal with being a small fish in a big pond. That is what I have heard anyway. He was played because of injuries on the hope he would get a taste and some fight. Happens to high draft picks often if they go in with the wrong attitude

Not much of a roll player in the end loafing around in the back line. I suppose that's why his career is toast.
I dont like the pannetone of this post.

I dont mean to damper your bread jokes but ciabatta get your bread types right because others will baguette your post. Now im not saying to get the foccacia out of here and you're probably thinking this is naan of my business and that im a panè in the arse however if you're going to post roti then I pita you. I suggest you go out and pumpernickel or two into one of those peep shows and try and get a raisin for your dough or just head out of town and go where other people who say bad bread jokes live, Scone. You sir have left a sourdough taste in my mouth.

Welcome to Scone by the way.

Don't want to put a damper on the banter from poor Yoko's spelling error, but gee take it easy on him/her..
Ono, on Yoko? Not intending to put him under the pumpernickel. Just a bit of off season typo fun.

I always thought he'd make a good crumber.
I originally thought we would find him slicing his way up the ground with that kick of his. We all waited for him to flower into something great, so its a shame he never raised his game.

However, how we allowed him to continue to sag and not bake in a few games for EVW is really disappointing.
