MJ's a little jealous :( swap your 2 for my 6?

6!!?!!? Goddamn, good luck dude.

I've got 4 left, with 3 in the next 3 days. I type this while on a break from studying and hypoventilating at the same time.

Trifecta of National Politics (cakewalk), History (should do very well) and Lit (which I could bomb).

I've got methods/methods/spec/spec this week, followed by history jap next week. I'm not really as stressed as i thought i'd be, more keen to get it over with. Last minute cramming doesn't really help, so why bother. Studied for months for these, another couple of days isn't that helpfull...

Hmmm....this article from September last year looks familiar. And check out some of those comments.
Damn, wish that was the actual article. I could've found a way to just talk about footy for my whole essay haha. :p

Had further Friday and today. It was surprisingly difficult today, didn't get enough time to finish. Friday I ended up with 31 or 32 out of 40. Was hoping for more but that was a bit hard as well. Can't be ****ed with methods. It's gonna be my 6th subject so it won't contribute that much to my atar.

Wow they actually ripped a lot of it off that article! Check out the name too Helen Razer (aka Helen Day).

So it's a day before I start my exams, and I'm tempted to buy a PS3. You could say motivation is low :p

Does anybody else have the killer maths week (Methods/Spesh)? Four days of maths in a row

Yeah I've got it too.

Really hoping for an A/A+ in Methods (only thing that will prevent me is stupid errors and probability), and for Spesh I would be stoked with a C+.

how'd you guys find methods exam 1? i found it much harder than the previous vcaa ones, probably gonna end up with 25-30 :(

Definently harder, felt good that everyone found it hard though. Answers are here: http://www.itute.com/board/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2447, but not the questions! I stuffed up the last one, in a rush had tan(pi/6) =.5.... Apart from that, personally i was glad it was hard. Only low 30s as opposed to the high 30s i was getting, but should still atleast get an a (hopefully...)

Also, anyone running a market on what Tasmania Jones will be up to tomorrow?
I'm putting $5 on her having to find treasure under water, and calculating how long she can hold her breath for.

You're a Radiohead fan.

You'll be alright. We're all smart.

Examiners took my spare calculator batteries today. He said while it's a good idea, it's not on the list of items you can bring in, so he just took them and said call him if i need them and he'll give them back. Did the same with several other people. Bit stupid i think!

weird, examiners didn't take my spare batts. how'd you find it? i didnt finish the last two parts for the last question :(

He was nice about it, but it was very unnecessary. I thought it was long. The multiple choice particularly, some of the questions were very...strange. As if a question like it hadn't been on a vcaa paper or any other practice exam before.

Extended answers varied. Probability wasn't great for me, but i think i got through it. I dropped 5 marks on the last question (the final show that and the last part), but the rest of it i think i had ok and it was out of 18 so i'd be happy with 13/18 for that, given the rest of the exam.

I just didn't get time to look over it, so i dunno. Hopefully an a!

yeh i thought it was long as well, didnt get to double check my MC, and what was that question about constant of proportionality? never seen anything like that in my life

Yeah, but ah well, everyone would have struggled over that. You or I aren't unique, so i wouldn't worry. Only needed 57/80 to get an A last year, 66/80 to get an a+. If they don't change, hopefully i've set myself up for a low a+/high a. Overall happy, now for spec tomorrow!

Wow that was difficult. I killed exam 1 and usually get higher 70s on exam 2's but that was a killer, I finished with 10 seconds to go, it seemed to be too lengthy.

Also, there were some spesh concepts in there such as differential equations, would've thought that was too hard for a methods exam.

which one was the differential equation? haha good luck to you guys, i've got year 11 exams starting tmr which i'm not too worried about

Multichoice I managed 19/22, wrote my answers on my formula sheet and the answers were on itute about 15 minutes after the exam. :thumbsu:

Rest I found okay, friggin Tasmania Jones was at it again. The probability question may well bring my score down a bit unfortunately.

The first extended response question. I didn't find it difficult but that's due to my spesh knowledge, it seemed weird to be on the exam.
