Because they're rankings. I take it your ATAR was below 50?How aren't they?![]()

If you have an ATAR of 70.00, for example, it indicates that you have achieved as well as or better than 70% of the Year 12 school leaver age population.
I get where he is coming from and it is a percentage but it comes under the definition of percentile. That is if you got an atar of 70 even you are better than 70% of the population in the sample. If yoiu got a score of 70/100 then your score would be 70%. Google Percentage vs Percentile. As for his ATAr comment about your score this is utterly stupid.I'm not real sure where you're getting this from, or I'm misunderstanding you which is more than likely. If you get an ATAR of 95 your in the top 5% of Australians, yes?

Good mate got 99.95. Ex got 99.95. I got 98.25 - Good but I feel inadequate as.
no offense but what kind of dick complains over 98.25 when there are people who struggled to make the cut-off?
Na you were having a brag tbh.Haha I'm not really serious man, I came when I received my results two years ago. Just interpreting the results in a different way because how well you did is relative to the environment around you
