Would've asked you exactly the same question! I'm effectively suiting up without the jacket. Are you?

Assuming you're looking at Software Engineering if you're after 82?

Yeah i was gonna do the same, suit minus jacket. I'm looking at Computer Science actually. It was somewhere around 82 as well. What are you looking at?

The thing is, I won't know what my results are until after work.
I start at 5am, so if it's in the Hun tomorrow, I can only look them up while eating breakfast @ Maccas beforehand. Nervous as shit.

But, whatever happened, happened and I'll deal with it tomorrow.

That's relieving to know what others are planning on wearing. :)

Looking at Business Information Systems (~85) and possibly the double degree of that with Commerce (~92) (although I believe that renders tomorrows interview useless if I do that as double degree students apply later on).

Surely you'd be able to request 5 minutes to look at your results? Seems a bit harsh I would've thought most employers would understand.

That's really not instilling confidence in me....
I think I went goodly enough on Chem and IT, but not so much on Methods and English.

By not so much I mean anywhere from 20-35 for each.

Don't worry about it mate, there was a period of two-three hours the night before results came out where I convinced myself I was going to get below 60.

Well let me be the first to post my result from Victoria then. Said to myself I'd wake up whenever and pace myself but my body, as if having it's own alarm woke me at precisely 6.55am.

Went to the computer with an odd sense of ease and ushered my family away until I saw the result myself. Read the individual study scores and then my ATAR..... 95.35 it said.

Quite pleased to say the least.

Had a dreaming 15 minutes before I was meant to get the text where I got 77. I was really disappointed in the dream. I was absolutely adamant that the dream was real until I woke up and realised that it was still 6:48am. Checked my phone and my recent messages and there wasn't one about my ATAR. Started dreading how disappointed I would be if I got less than 77.

Text was late which made me even more nervous. Then got the text through saying I got 81. Very happy. 41 in bus man too which means I'll be in the paper. :)
Surprisingly got 28 in methods including C+s on both exams!

Jesus, well done to all of you.

Are you all less fond of English? Or is Vic English measured in something other than the regular percentage?

Met requirements to get into my course (with scholarship) and did so with a 38 (A, A, A) in English.

Satisfied. :thumbsu:

Some excellent ATAR scores there. The year I completed the VCE in 2007 at my school the highest ENTER score as it was called at that time was from memory 98.9. Congrats to everyone who got the result they aimed for and the ones that didn't it's not the end of the world and I'm sure there's something still out there for you. VCE is bloody tough because your completing with every year 12 student in the state. One subject I did was Biology which in my opinion should scale up a little bit but in fact scales down a little.

The scaling system is absolutely flawed. Plays those who have a pre-disposition in the mathematics and sciences. Left-brain thinking is insulted by poor scaling.

True, but I think many left-brain courses do not require as high ATAR scores and hence would not need such scaling; it's all relative.
