Totally agree on Harper. Flashes of brilliance isn't enough. But sub games is tough to build stats and momentum. But no excuses needs to lift.Those Elite, Above average, average, below average, poor categories are all based entirely on stats for their position. Conca is below average because for his position (midfield) 19 possesions a game isn't great. Harper is below average because 8.8 disposals per game isn't very many for any position.
It doesn't take into account age, potential, sub games or impact on games. It's simply a statistical comparison. I would bet Coniglio and David Swallow are both listed as average or below average too.
Find it amusing that Ben McEvoy and Goldstein both averaged 12.2 disposal Ben 25.3 hit outs and Todd 31.6 hitouts yet Ben is the elite? Todd a victim of his own monsterous 2011??? I'm saw he got really upset when he read it too
