A couple of weeks ago the devs reached out and told us a release window trailer was coming and offered us the chance to do an interview. For context this was a mailing list email, so everyone on the list had the opportunity.

I got the interview answers back end they're pretty thin. If I don't end up publishing them I'll post them here.
 
Really excited for this. Hopefully what looked like development hell was over stated and hasn't affected the game too much.

While I don't doubt it will have any issues releasing I'm curious how it will work with publishing rights and stuff. Their publishers are outside of Russia and I don't know how the current sanctions will affect them.

Yep, been such a long development that I just don't know what to expect.
 
Struggle to see where a good time for this to release is at the rest of the year is packed. Still very keen for it but still have no idea where it'll land quality wise.
 
I just wonder if it's going to be the original game that was revealed. They claim that it has been in continuous development the entire time but it's well documented it has been rebooted a few times and there are some interesting stories from those who were early backers. Also not sure how they are going to get paid even from a western publisher with current restrictions around trading with Russia.
 
I just finished watching this too. I hope it's just something to do with it being recorded game play there seems to be something missing in the combat. I don't know what it is or exactly how to describe it other than it feels like it's lacking some "oomph" and maybe some more feedback. That kind of stuff come pretty late though with more polish so there is still time.

This trailer certainly feels more polished than the previous one. Though it still seems like a different game to what we were first shown all those years ago. My initial impression was Soviet Bioshock but while we should be excited about all the stuff being announced in this latest trailer I start to hope that this doesn't suffer from scope creep, especially if it suffered from a turbulent development.

That voiceover has gotta be none other than Geralt himself.
 
A lot of subjective points and the author has disabled comments so nobody has a chance to challenge any of them. However the part about the money trail of the investments (starting around 8min or something) might be worth a little more research for some. However the author didn't really provide a whole lot of sources.
