The season rolls on. Shock horror that I am making an ATP thread 2022 before a WTA thread, but Juan Martin Del Potro is about to take to the court in what could be his last match ever in front of an enduring sold-out home crowd in Argentina. Got some stuff to do today, but will be keeping a close eye on this match when I can.

Sad moment. 2 horrible injuries derailed what could have been one of the great careers.

Del Potro was at the level of Murray - Reckon he could have won 3 to 5 Grand Slams.
I reckon he was better

After that Wrist injury, which basically meant he had no backhand, he still was reached a slam final and #3 in the world.

Would have been something to see how the big 3 would have combated someone with that power on the forehand.

Exceptional start to the year for Felix. Monkey finally off the back and no reason he can't push on to reach top 4 by the end of the season.
