Yep nearly our entire F50 group...

Very impressive spread when you look at the numbers of players hitting the scoreboard each game.

The great thing about this, that more players in a starting line up along with the already mentioned can possibly hit the same achievement. Quite easily when fit Moore, Elliot, SS, and Reid can get a bag, that's 10 guys who can matchwin on any given day.

More interesting is that the years mentioned when the records were set, were good winning years and the team went deep in finals.

This has as much to with the style of footy we play as much as personnel carrying these bags out.

The manic pressure move the ball forward with clean hands in the phone box then spread and link up type footy allows our forwards to find space in the right places. This sort of footy like QB is the sort of footy that allows you to contend and is very difficult to defeat, having pace whether by foot or good transition on the outside also has your opponent on the back foot.

Last year the contested numbers were similar but our DE was the downfall hence the turnovers and watching the footy going the other way while being caught too high up the field - because the plan was to swarm, win in the phone box then spread and transition the footy our way. That only works if your DE is up to the plan.

Now with clean hands inside we win the clearances and use ball speed and/or foot speed to leave the opp in our dust and by extension gives our forwards a better look at it.

Was just thinking how mouth watering it’s going to be when Billy comes back in. Cross fingers, knees and toes his body holds up:

F: JT (5 bagger), Cox (5 bagger), Elliot (obviously capable of 5 baggers)
HF: Stevo (5 bagger), Hoss (5+ bagger), DeGoey (5+ bagger).. insanity.*

*Showing players that have kicked 5 or more (or potential thereof) this year.

Plenty of other guns rotating through. Try manning that up with a traditional backline.

The unpredictability the opp has is an ace in our deck, we keep em guessing with those quality rotations.
