My friend and I are coming to Adelaide next weekend - where are the "hot" spots to go to? We've heard that the Post Office is good, but we need to know where is "in" on a Saturday night and a Sunday afternoon/night. Please let me know (BTW we're staying at a place on South Terrace, so we need somewhere w/i walking distance).
 
well u r staying on sth terrace then u r a little way out of the CBD (god that made no sense) where abouts on north tce r u staying? cos there r 2 places i can think of but the are at either end of nth tce. if u r staying at the holiday end u could go to the Green Dragon which is on the cnrs of pultney st and sth tce, and there r some cafes and that around the corner. if u r at the western end of sth tce then u r close to some of the nightclubs there, but i dont go to them so i wont reccommend any cos i dont know hwat they r like and i dont know your tastes. ummm the western end of sth tce is closer to the city cos u would just walk down north tce and find the casino etc.......


im sure the other south aussies would be able to help u out a bit more. :)

south terrace???
well on grenfell st, there is the nightlife. Pubs like the Crown and Anchor, the Exchange, clubs like Soda Room (best spot in adelaide), the planet

yeah there r places like the holiday inn and all those places on sth tce. and the south park inn which is on the west end of sth tce. most of the places i go to are in the city, north adelaide, down the port (sometimes) and down the bay.

I would have thought the Adelaide or Queen Adelaide Club would be the home of Melbourne supporters in Adelaide.


1st Saturday of every month - Crown and Sceptre is the place to be.

i think its the kumfy klub...that was cool last time i went to that about 5 months ago

I will certainly be at the Collingwood game in my usual spot

Row D Seat 22 - just close enought to blast the umpires and the Collingwood morons eg Buckley Buckley and Buckley.

I think meeting people ruins the mistique of the message boards.

Obviously won't go to West and Glenelg as I am an Eagles supporter but I have other sporting commitments on Saturday afternoon in any case. ( I do some coaching)

As much as I would love to meet you, it doesn't seem likely!!

ITS GREAT FUN MEETING PEOPLE THATS WOT LIFE IS ALL ABOUT MATE..GETTING AMONGST IT AND HAVING FUN.

MATE WHEN I MEET PEOPLE FROM BIGFOOTY ITS REALLY GOOD FUN COS ITS LIKE WE KNOW EACH OTHER ALREADY AND AT THE END OF THE DAY WE ARE THE SAME WE JUST SUPPORT DIFFERENT CLUBS THATS ALL..HOPE YOU HAVE A CHANGE OF HEART PAL
IT WOULD BE GOOD TO HAVE A DRINK WITH YOU.

trust me i will find u. someone did that to me b4, gave me a row and seat no, but no section but i found them. so trust me i will find u Jars.

It was stealth bomber who made the avatars, but I can't remember the site address, just do a search on club avatars, or if you have some time, search stealths posts till you find it.
