The virus is rather just imo. It's mostly focusing on boomers who robbed the younger generations of home ownership and turned property into their own personal financial playground.

I only wish we would ban arrivals and leave them overseas. We need 6 months jail people for breaking quarantine, and life sentences for those who break quarantine and test positive.

How about the not taking overseas holidays every year, buying used cars instead of new ones , having a home that suits a family and isn’t looking to be in a magazine ?
There are heaps of things we have gone without and what’s more - we have retired because we’ve invested in property - our rents have not gone up in 4 years - interest rates going down, we can rent to people we believe need a bit of a break and live in a clean tidy home

I think we will find that going ahead, people are going to have a lot less energy to devote to obsessive tolerance of everything, and the wisdom of the angry beaver whose childhood was apparently stolen by some unseasononably warm weather.

These are luxuries afforded that section of the world population who have been able to ignore poverty, pestilence and personal consequences of war for several generations, as something those unimportant "have nots" were assigned to deal with.

Our current political & economic systems incorporate capitalist and socialist elements, they do not exclude either nor should we wish them to. At no point in human history have our poorest citizens been wealthier than now, been more highly educated, or had more political freedom.

Unfortunately people are ignorant fools who insist on comparing our system to an ideal which has never physically existed, then using that as the basis to claim our system "doesn't work" compared with the perfect system that exists only in their minds which they wouldn't even be capable of describing in workable detail if asked because like all dreams it is satisfyingly vague.

Vastly more intelligent men than us have spent their entire lives trying to solve humanity's problems. If unfettered socialism was really "the answer" it would have been adopted throughout the world long before we were born.

Communism and Fascism are both extreme forms of Socialism. Both totalitarian systems which force the population to share its wealth. The key difference is Communism insists all businesses are run by the state while Fascism allows private ownership but exerts complete control over those businesses.

Both ideologies are bogus because they're founded on the concept of cooperation, and you can't force people to cooperate against their will successfully. So naturally Communist & Fascist governments always end up enslaving their populations as that's the only way the systems can be sustained once it quickly becomes obvious they don't work. Capitalism on the other hand succeeds because it is founded on the concept of competition, and if left to their own devices humans will naturally compete with one another without a totalitarian government having to force them.

I just had a dream 2 different people stole my ansell disposable gloves off my trolley and when I ran to the car of one person to recover them the other person would steal the other half on my trolley and this was an ongoing cycle like loonytunes. Eventually I end up with only half my packs as one of the thieves drove off when I was in the car attending to the other thieves. After realizing my gloves were gone I grabbed the gun and consciously shot him and his wife in the face. They were in the backseat for some reason and I was in the drivers seat (of his car). It was a good dream despite losing half my gloves

The moral of the dream was once the gloves are gone so are you. Those people assumed once my gloves were gone, it was over and I had to accept losing the gloves. Wrong. They should've prioritized those gloves coming home with me as much as they did their own lives.
