Have you ever heard a more bias commentator in the history of commentary, even Dipper and Dougie are better.

His comment midway through the second quarter sent shivers up my spine "Geelong have been given a couple of lucky breaks and are lucky to be 4 goals up"

Did you notice the half time free kick count?

13-3 to WCE. Where are the lucky breaks?

He is officially hopeless, not one praiseworthy word about Geelong for the whole match, all he was concerned with was how bad West Coast were and what a good pick up Kerr was. Memo, Geelong won by 11 goals, but should have won by closer to 15.

If Dunstall is correct about his comments then West Coast have a VERY VERY long winter ahead, and probably won't win a game.

Geelong really should be on top tonight. There percentage midway through the last quarter was 340, but with a couple of late goals to the Eagles, they ended at only 234, 5 behind Essendon.

I thought Dunstall was spot on with his comments re the umpires. He was not referring to the free kicks that had been paid, rather the ones that seemed to be missed, such as Steven King re-modelling David Sierakowski's head without being penalised.

There's no doubt the umpires had absolutely no influence on the result, but they missed some howlers for the Eagles in the first half.

Hey Vis, have you ever seen a player with concussion walk around the boundary line at half time on crutchers?

He probably did have concussion, but I think you'll find in the wash up that he has done some damage to his knee.

It won't be concussion that'll keep him out of next weeks match, I can tell you that now.

Yeah I went and had a look at the replay and he did land rather awkwardly on his knee. He was still walking fairly easily though, I dont think he will miss next week though it depends on how he pulls up tommorow.

Yes I always notice that Jason Dunstall is unbelievably biased against Geelong- he will never tip them, and can never say a good word about them. It's actually kind of funny.

Also, if West Coast hadn't scored that last behind, Geelong would be on top of the ladder.

I actually think Jason is a pretty eloquent and professional commentator. When you compare his natural "on-air" talent to Dougie and Dipper, there is no comparison. He's good a pretty sharp wit and he doesn't crap on and over-use words, like Dermott Brereton.

Jason Dunstall has half a brain about him. He may be biased, ive never notived it, but why would i - i'm not a cats fan.

Some of the commentators that Channel 7 have are shockers. In fact, are there any good commentators in any sport now.

AFL - theres about 50 commentators on channel 7's team, about 45 should be sacked.

Rugby League - they're shockers. Cameron Williams on Fox Sports is good, but he doesn't get much air time

Cricket - ohhhhhhhhhh god, they guys do suck. What about David Hookes in India. Yes, that ball has pitched in line with middle stump, the ball actually pitched about 3 feet outside leg stump - in regard to Ponting's dismissal in the Singh hatrick.

Rugby Union - these guys are allright. Gordon Bray's not to bad. The union commentators have got the rest well and truly covered.

Yeah, I've always considered Jason Dunstall a very natural television performer. Some struggle to make the transition, but Jason has a bit of style, and importantly, he has an "on-air" confidence in the way he presents himself. He was a great role model as a player and I think he presents himself very well as a commentator too. I have no problem with him. Maybe, last year, when he was teaming with Dermie on Friday nights he got a bit "chummy", but other than that, he been ver professional, and sharp to listen too.

I don't like how Dermie mentions all the Hawthorn player's waeknesses which he obviously knows from his coaching at glenferrie. No other 'aligned' commentator does this. Please shut up dermie, or give out false info to confuse them all.

Dunstall is crap but Tony Shaw is an absolute disgrace.
Geelong's game plan was very physical and the umpires let them get away with most of it. Free kick count should have been about 40-3 at half time. Look for further Geelong reports, particularly Budda for the elbow in the head incident. If the umpire let Geelong play like that all season there are going to be a lot of opponent injuries. King on Sierra was a 'King hit', deliberate or reckless it should be 4 weeks minimum. They let that go and a goal resulted. Compare that with an inoccuous hip and shoulder from Carol that was paid a 50m penalty and gimme goal. The umpiring was bad and biased.

all i can say is that i was despartely hoping for west coast to get that last point although geelong were comprehensively better than the eagles on sunday and the WA sides should thank someone that there is no relegation system in the AFL

If you look at the replay again, I think you'll find that Sierakowski gave himself concussion when he landed, by belting his head into his knee. Note the sudden jolt of his head after it cannoned into his knee. Stewie Loewe did a couple of years ago and I'm surprised that it doesn't happen more often.

Catman if you look properly he was in la la land before he hit the ground. Thats why his knee buckled when he hit the ground, he was unconscious.

Okay Sierra deliberately attacked Kings fist with his head. 8 weeks for Sierra I reckon.
