Almost unphased it’s doctored in some way. Absolute gold.

According to Dylan Buckley Rocket for all intents and purposes delisted Dan Gorringe two games into his Gold Coast tenure, so this comes as so surprise.
Gorringe signed at Balwyn last year and then took off as soon as rocket was appointed coach of them.

Nothing to do with the language - couldn't give a toss if he swears little deary.

My criticism is that he is being paid big dollars to be in charge of an AFL team and in those moments he is totally out of control - he is not coaching. He is raging like an imbecile.

Listen to, who I assume is, Leon Cameron saying 'Rocket, we can't hear !!'
You have no ******* idea the context. Could be 80 points down with 5 minutes to go. Could have been 80 points up with 5 minutes to go.

Do people seriously think the likes of Malthouse, Parkin, Clarkson, sheedy would have not carried on like this at some stage? Stop being outraged all the time. Funniest thing I’ve heard in a long time.
I don't think anybody is outraged. It's just saying that losing your head like a drunken spectator is getting in the way of actually coaching the side. Not only is Rocket doing absolutely nothing of value himself in this audio, he's also getting in the way of everyone else, AND you can hear his assistants trying to manage the team in order to mollify Rocket rather than win the game.

I don't think Clarkson and Malthouse lose control of their emotions to the point that they lose control of the entire coaches' box. It was one of Terry Wallace's better lines in Year of the Dog IIRC - "Let's not barrack, let's coach".

I admit he definitely lost control however how would you know that Malthouse and the Luke have not lost control before in the box? When you see a coach smashing the phone down numerous times or punching the wall, do you not think control has been lost for that brief period?

Shows that Leon Cameron is far better at being a coach than Rodney Eade. A coach can't lose composure like that as they are useless if they can't keep a somewhat level head during games.
I doubt Rocket would have carried on like that all the time or he wouldn't have lasted as a coach for so long at 3 different clubs and no assistant coaches would want to work with him.

Malthouse would've given some fearsome sprays in his time, you only have to look at the sprays he gave journos in press conferences after a loss, he would've been 10 times worse than that behind closed doors.

Minson must of been having a shocker.
Actually, I get the feeling that Minson might have been his favourite whipping-boy, to be honest, going by Eade's nickname, the fact that other Bulldog players have singled out his sprays to Minson and Gia, and of course his "dumb smart player" comment in public...

Whoa man. Uncalled for.
Especially given that the original quote was Darryl, now I look it up...

Though, as part of re-signing on for 1980, Keith Grieg got a guarantee that Barassi wouldn't speak to him for the whole year. He won the B+F that year.

Yep. Brian Lake was the other. Gave these guys the biggest sprays because he felt they could handle it and be motivated by it. But losing it like that in the box for so long goes a long way to explaining why we kept coming up just short

Also only have to look at what he said to Stephen Milne to know he is an actual loose cannon
