So who do you think will win, the mens draw looks open,
Sampras - cant win, has a tough 1st round match and hasnt been out here to get match practice

I like either Lleyton Hewitt or Yevgeny Kafelnikov to win it.

In the womens unfortunately I have to say Hingis (even though she is a little bitch, did you see how she carried on yesterday ?)

Dokic is definitely a spoilt brat, now she's going to play for Yugoslavia and live overseas. I say good riddance, even though that leaves Pratt as our best female player.

Hewitt's a good player and a top bloke, while also being a proud Aussie, who always gives his best, no matter what the situation (can't say this for everyone, if you know what I mean). I reckon Hewitt's very much misunderstood.

For the Open, I think Kafelnikov and Davenport will win. I don't like Hingis either Easty, when she is winning, everything is great, but when she's losing, Hingis completely loses her cool. (We all remember the French Open a couple of years ago.)

As for Jelena Dokic, I'm sure I read that it takes at least 6 months to be out of professional tennis to change countries you represent in tennis, but maybe thats not the case.

It's a bit of a worry for Australian tennis if our top womens player is Nicole Pratt.

Lleyton Hewitt is the only Aus tennis player that actually plays with a bit of spirit and passion, he's the only one that's exciting to watch and gives it his all. He's got a good chance of taking it out and I hope he does!

Hewitt has a very tough first couple of rounds . If he gets through them he is a chance. I like Pete Sampras to beat Magnus Norman. I would have said Safin until his injury.
In the ladies I think Martina Hingis is hitting her staps at the right time and will beat Davenport in the final.

Anyways my tips : Agassi looks great he easily beat Kafelnikov for the Colonial Classic title and should be hard to beat. But you cant discount Sampras. Hewitt for my roughie.

Apparently Jelena got the idea of moving to a different country from the Essendon Football Club.
