Steroids are illegal?

Without a prescription, yes.

Steroids are Schedule III substances under the U.S. Controlled Substances Act.

Do you think every second cop in the U.S. is suffering from erectile dysfunction or Gender Identity Disorder?

Zero intellectual content, 100% struggling ego.

Your existence is pointless.

Ignore.

Pretty soon you'll have the whole site on your ignore list, super-flog. Pathetic.

Everyone who desn't have this hero's opinion, he doesn't even want to read.

Probably the biggest arse-hat on this site.

Anyone want a laugh- go look at this ******'s contributions on the North board. Full of himself and his own ego.

1) The average Australian cop is not a steroid amped (Yes, that's right, illegal drug users) troglodyte like your average U.S. cop.

2) The average Australian cop employing such tactics would get dismantled in a fight on a regular basis. It's far wiser to defuse a situation and take a suspect in to custody placidly.

3) You NEVER see the film clips where they get their arses handed to them.

4) Only a coward is subjugated by violence. Any violence, including state violence.

how many American and Australian cops do you even know?

my point still stands in many situations it is better to use weight of numbers or superior force to end a stand off before the suspect hurts themselves or others. Cops shot 2 people in 24 hours in Melbourne recently besides the obvious need for tazers or other non lethal force surely it is better to defuse a situation before the need arises to shoot someone.

As for your last point your average law abiding citizen has nothing to worry about because you don't get into those situations the majority of people in trouble with the police are either stupid or they deserve it.

American, none, my observation is based on a knowledge of steroids and the physiques of a significant number of U.S. police that I have seen.

Australian, a few.

Look, you wouldn't know what the truth is in relation to any police shootings, nor most other matters as there are 111 employees in the VicPol media liaison unit, whose main role is to act as media management personnel. They are effectively a P.R. organisation.

Really? What was the woman in that clip doing to demanded such a ridiculous amount of force?

He's an important Bigfooty contributor who is able to determine the sexual disorders of a sector of a foreign work force from just a few television programs.

Hell, I'm impressed ...

I don't know that and you don't know either you would need to see the video in full if there is one. What I can see is that she wasn't left to cause any trouble and it's not like he bashed her on the ground he put her down cuffed her job well done

I can see that she was no physical threat to that cop, so he well and truly qualifies as a pig.

Ahhhh, knock them unconscious and work out the details later? Brilliant logic.

Why not just streamline things and forget about a trial while we're at it?

how do you know she wasn't going for a weapon around the corner?

justifiable use of force as i said he didn't get stuck in when she was on the ground he defused it and walked her away. there are plenty of petty criminals especially in aus that would learn alot more from a good beating than the rubbish sentencing that the Australian courts dish out but then again that's an entirely different can of worms

He crash tackled and knocked unconscious a woman that was doing nothing more than walking. He used overt force simply because he thinks the state allows him to do that, that cop is a pig and a gutless coward bully.

Have you seen the size (and gender) of the average cop these days? They would get their arses handed to them on a weekly basis.

Anyway, you are stupid to the point that you must be a troll. You are number 39.

How do you know she was?
He's probably making the assumption that the cop who was actually there knows a lot more about the situation, what was going on and the possible risks than we know from watching the video. Ridiculous assumption to make, I know.

What number are you?

Wow, I didn't see the concealed submachine gun.

What number are you?

Alpha and omega.

Wow, I didn't see the concealed submachine gun.

Neither did I. Which is why you won't find me judging someone for their actions in a situation I know next to nothing about.

People like you make me laugh. You constantly rage against the state and the system (ohh, you're an anarchist, soooo scary!) as being so unfair to the individual. And yet you have zero tolerance for anybody with a view that doesn't match yours.

this is pricisely the reason australian cops especially victorian ones need more forms of non lethal force be it tazers, bean bag guns etc in order to help diffuse situations without going for guns.

Just because I don't agree with you doesn't make me stupid either, I see on an ongoing basis people who shoplift large quantities of goods into the thousands of dollars simply because they know all that waits for them is a slap on the wrist the problem with being too soft on criminals in aus starts with the police and ends with the judicial system and sentencing.

The tolerant have never been able to tolerate the intolerant ... ;)

I would suspect most of the deaths came from illegal firearms.
Well, yes, but where to those illegal guns come from? Mostly legal dealers doing the dodgy under the table.

http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/shows/guns/procon/guns.html

ATF officials say that only about 8% of the nation's 124,000 retail gun dealers sell the majority of handguns that are used in crimes.

Gun politics in the US is a pretty interesting subject... although probably one for another thread.

Only ever had dealings with Aussie cops when they have come over here to the UK on exchange trips and such. They have always been great guys and genuinly nice.

It was a bit mind blowing when one said the size of his beat back home was about the same size as Scotland and that was considered small!!
