Nahhh
Still not reaching for what they want. You did it for them.

They look no more threatening than a roaming pack of Black Lives Matter sheep attacking a statue and burning businesses.

Its a free country.
If some nutters want to bend a knee to a violent and pathetic overseas lefty mob, so be it. Thats fine by me.
i other flogs want to play dress ups and go for bushwalks i'm ok with that also.

Cheers
Unfortunately the group playing dress ups and going for bush walks are mirroring a group that was responsible for mass genocide. Any respectable Australian citizen should take a basic lesson in history. The Nazis were cowards. They murdered little kids and little old women. They attempted to invade the UK via mass bombing raids in 1940 and they were defeated by a gallant British Air Force.

The reason people have the way of life that they do today is because we fought over fascism and oppressive ideologies for a decent democratic and fascist free way of life. Would we have felt the same if the Nazis had won the war and imposed their regime upon the UK and it’s allies?

The difference between BLM protesters and these scumbags is that the neo Nazis are looking for an outlet of aggression. Their whole ideology is based on aggression. Take the example of Brenton Tarrant. This is their martyr essentially, or Fraser Anning using the term final solution or blaming Muslims for their religion for the Christchurch massacre.

So, if you’re cool with kids getting gassed or people going into a place of worship and getting their heads blown off, then take the stand that you’re ‘ok with these flogs playing dress ups’.

Who are you to determine what centrist is?
It's not a tennis court, where there is a defined set of rules determining court size, and how far from each end the net should be.
All you're doing is moving the net two feet further in one direction or the other.

I'd actually consider this board to be leftist in intent, but autocratic in nature and outcome... particularly where the manipulation of thought is in play.
Would you call that "centrist"?
Centrist is what I would consider to a long way away from supporting right wing extremists and a long way from anti vaccine mother earth tree huggers who think capitalism is evil and everyone working in a big corporation is a murderer for eating meat.

Any form of extremism is unhinged. It pays to have perspective for what we are as humans have respect and decency as a general rule. I am not saying centrist people are lunatics if they don’t all want to have immigration policies or they question shutting down the coal industry. That puts you to the right but it doesn’t make you a sympathiser of Nazis. And not all left leaning voters want to save every feral animal, revert to total socialism and think kombucha can do the job of vaccines.

The reason you’d consider this board to be leftist in intent is because most people see Nazis as murdering cowards who couldn’t win a war against the big boys and got their kicks from killing kids.

Its only hate to you because it doesnt fit your politics.
I'll bet 5 interwb bux you had no problem with what the lefty crazies in the states were doing.

You want others to be somehow "scared" of those idiots ?

The only difference is they dress differently to the lefties and burn different shyt.

They're all nutters and easily ignored. Not "scarey " in the slightest.

You're obviously just too easily led around the paddock by a nose ring.

Life's too short to give a sh*t about BLM and Nazis under the bed.
It’s hate because their entire ideology is based on discrimination and showing support for a regime that did hate. Are you trying to kid yourself into thinking these people wouldn’t admit they are haters?

The difference is INTENT. If the far right had political power and the ability to set laws, what do you think would happen to people of different ethnicities? What do you think would happen to mixed-ethnicity couples and their offspring?

These groups can be lived with so long as they're only mouthing off and waving placards and playing dress-ups in the bush. But what happens if this lot gets political power? We know from history that all it takes is some economic turmoil, maybe some other factors, for people to look for some sort of scapegoat and to turn to those who say in the loudest voice that they would DEAL with these problems.

We are sitting right now in a substantially trying time. Financial woes, global health woes. A perfect storm of sh*t could be brewing. People could turn to something downright ugly if it claims it has a way out.
Excellent point. These groups thrive on instability. Look at Hitler. He galvanised a broken Germany in the throws of economic depression and weaponised the plight and desperation of the people to channel his extreme views. He gave hope and sold ‘opportunity’.

Desperate people do desperate things. Right now these extreme right wing voices are watered down by decent democratic structures and level headed people, but make no mistake, if they were to gain power we would see the real execution of their power to display total discrimination and enact warfare on minorities.

Same same, everyone lost their sh*t, thinking their way of life was going to end, all the fall of western society was being infiltrated by hot headed w******.

Ok, ISIL was slightly different as they actually took hold of large parts of Iraq, and there was some fatalities on western soil.

But let's not pretend they were ever going to just walk into western civilization demand everyone change their way of life being outnumbered like 10 to 1 and expect them to succeed.

So yeah 40 odd islamist extremists in the Grampians is no greater threat than 40 odd dick head white supremacists.

If there were 400 thousand of either in the Grampians, ok then that's cause for concern, even then they're not likely to succeed in their end game - change everyone's mind.

And that's why this thread is such a laugh, just another scary minority and everyone thinks the sky is falling in. Fargin hilarious.
Well yes they did walk into western civilisation. It happened on the 11/9/01.

And yet western civilisation still stands.
They got a free pass to murder 3000+ innocent people. How they got through and managed to pull that off has got to be the biggest administrative failure (or one of) that has ever happened.

Of course it still stands, but the memory of that terrible incident is still etched in history.

Bwahahahahaaa

Turns out you CAN be jailed for " being a ******* "

If people received jail sentences for being a dickhead then we’d all have been in prison at some point. You’re not being a dickhead when you do this, you’re showing that you are spreading a hateful narrative that incites or has the potential to incite violence and aggression.

The problem with people like you is that it’s all a joke and it’s just being a dickhead until it’s not. It’s all the people on these anti Muslim, anti same sex and anti immigration forums online until a Brenton Tarrant pops up. Then it’s not just being a dickhead is it?

That's interesting about the mixed martial arts connection. Scope this out;

While I definitely would be a fool to generalise that all MMA participants and fans are dangerous redneck racists the connections that do exist are noteworthy.
MMA is clearly a really good channel to recruit these types due to the pretty raw and direct methodology of violence. It doesn’t surprise me.

I guess the best way to describe nazism and Nazi ideologies is simply cowardice. The Neo Nazis will claim they are acting in the name of socialism but really they are an oppressive fascist group built upon agendas of mass genocide and ethnic cleansing.

Any Nazi sympathiser need to adhere to a few facts;
1. Nazis had no issue with killing innocent kids, little old men and little old ladies
2. Nazis physically deprived their captives so they were so weak and malnourished they could offer little resistance
3. The leader of the Nazi party hid himself in a bunker when he’d lost the war and topped himself. He didn’t face proper justice. He didn’t look the world in the eye and own his actions. He hid in a hole and killed himself on his terms.
4. The Nazis couldn’t beat a matched opponent in the allies. They had no clout and no ability to achieve anything else but killing the innocent.

I say to anyone sympathising with Nazis, what are you thoughts on the murderer of Daniel Morcombe? The murderers of the Bega schoolgirls? Martin Bryant was responsible for killing a mum and her two little kids, 6 and 3. If you’re going to advocate for Nazism and give out a Hitler salute whilst running with your Nazi youth haircut, along with espousing some pretty questionable views on ethnics, then you’re pretty much sitting in the same corner as child murderers.

If you’re ok with that comparison that’s your prerogative.

Australians on both sides of politics are highly tolerant people with an ambition to create the best life possible for themselves and their family.

There is a fringe element on both sides who possess bigoted prejudice but it is just that a fringe element. It exists just as much on the left however the difference is that far left tend to view minorities groups as being on their side in the fight against capitalism but the moment a member of a minority group corsses over to the conservative side their prejudice is exposed.
ASIO is spending about 40% of its time on these ‘fringe’ elements. These elements need to be quashed and voices from the right wing extremists need to be silenced. They have a narrative based upon violence and persecution of minorities. It only takes one total head case to turn out like Brenton Tarrant. This is what happens when ‘fringe’ right groups have a voice.

And before I hear the obligatory ‘free speech free speech’ argument from the obvious right wingers on these forums, hate speech isn’t free speech. There is an obvious difference. You’re not free to suggest that nazism and such ideologies have a place in modern society. Being opposed to the left is fine. There are leftist elements I don’t like, but don’t use that as an excuse to channel fascism.

Would it accepted via free speech if I said I like underage girls? Would it be accepted if I said girls in short skirts are ‘asking’ for it? Would it be accepted if I said my mrs deserves a slap if she talks back to me? All these people might say ‘well it’s my right to say that, it’s a free world and free speech is my right’.

Free speech also isn’t about talking. Free speech extends to actions and behaviours.

You cant be that naïve can you?

You're aware that US bombs were falling on houses in the Middle East well before 9/11 right?
Very much so. But I was referencing a direct attack on western soil from terrorists.

I am not condoning what the Americans are doing / did by the way. I am not saying they get off and it’s discounted because they’re the Americans. I was simply giving an example of how terrorists have infiltrated western grounds.

Islamic Terrorists, and there were plenty of attacks on 'Western' soil by them before that.

Munich springs to mind. As does Lockerbie (maybe). The 1993 bombings of the WTC.

The Jihadis did up their game this century though. US meddling in the ME (support for Israel, blowing up an Iranian civilian flight, Iranian revolution, supporting the Iraqis in their war against Iran, supporting the Saudis, repeated bombing campaigns, Gulf war etc) made them a pretty prime target.

Don’t doubt that at all. One is not surprised they were attacked. The intervention of the USA in the eighties to assist the Mujahideen assisted them in defeat of the Soviets. It was post was in 1990-1991 that Bin Laden was frustrated and disenfranchised that the Saudis wouldn’t support Al Qaeda in holding off Saddam Hussein.

The rest they say, is history.
