Are you able to give an example an authoritative democracy? Democracy is the very antithesis of authoritative.

How long since China has a communist society? Going by the dictionary they still are socialists.

excerpt:

Communism, on the other hand, is a branch of socialism. It’s similar in that it’s still founded on the idea of collective cooperation, but differs in that communists believe that cooperation should be run by a totalitarian government made up of one and only one government.
I literally gave two examples in the the post you quoted. As to your second point, 'democracy' can and is claimed by some of the most authoritative governments out there.

As to China being communist? They have the second highest count of billionaires in the world.

And the biggest population. sh*t stat.

China is a communist nation who have reformed some aspects of how their market works, as well as let the usual corruption creep in to let their elites gather capital and wealth.

they are not communist, so far from it its not funny

FFS if you're in hospital you need your family to bring in and cook you your food. The social safety net is pretty much non-existent.

Shanghai is a city where is state religion is making money, and its becoming a mantra for most of the rest of the country.

They are have a command economy, and an authoritarian government, but they are no socialist state aspiring towards communism anymore. They just say that sh*t for marketing purposes.

Yeah look, you're probably right that it is a mistake to use communism to describe how they actually operate now. What they say and what they do are two very different things.

Umm no 'Authoritative' and 'democracy' do not mix, like water and oil. Maybe read up the definitions of society models, what I've linked is from the dictionary. If you want to argue that then well.............................

yep, its more akin to what Yugoslavia had under Tito than the hard core socialist commune economies the soviets and china tried to establish

just imo, the only reason the ccp hang on to the communist mantle is to provide a social justification for their profit making

"its okay, because we are sharing some of it around too"

in some ways they are doing this. state owned entities mean the state is still getting a significant profit sharing benefit. In some ways, the princes are borderline russian oligarchs

It was the right wingers who defeated the Nazis. Such ignorance. The nazis who as anyone with an iq north of 80 knows were socialists.
They of course signed the molotov ribbentrop pact. It was the Tories who stood alone in Europe against them.

These threads are pathetic, a barely existent issue that attracts posters with zero clues on history and politics.

How about you merge all this nonsense in to one mega thread where you and all your co conspirators can bang on about the zombie nazi menace.
You are a classic example of those who ignore the lessons of history being doomed to repeat them.

Nazi germanys allies :

The fascist side in the spanish civil war

The communists in ussr when they invaded poland - shortly after they were enemies when germany invaded the ussr.

The fascists in italy

The fascists in japan

What did hitler have to say about communists in mein kampf? Jail them / execute them

What did hitler do to communists when he got in power? Jailed them and executed them.

____________________________________

In the early stages of the nazi party there was a socialist wing of the party lead by strasser - hitler allowed this as it broadened the party’s appeal to the working man - what happened to the socialist wing after hitler got power?

Strasser and his fellow socialists were executed in the night of the long knives in 1934 after hitler became chancellor in 1933.

You truly show an appalling level of ignorance

By what marker are they communist?

Communism is defined by the state ownership of all services, businesses, farms, utilities etc

I think you're mixing up authoritative and autocracy.

Authoritarian democracy is a form of democracy directed by a ruling elite of an authoritarian state that seeks to represent the different interests of society. Authoritarian democracy has also been called "organic democracy" by some proponents.

The irony is that description is exactly you. Hitler a left wing socialist? Jesus CHRIST. Read a book.

Hitler absolutely hated Marxism and Communism. Half of Mein Kampf is literally Hitler ranting how Marxism is an evil Jewish conspiracy (Hmm the right are still going on about Marxist thugs aren't they? )

He also despised 'Cultural Bolshevism' - progressive art and culture. (Hmm the right are still going on about Cultural Bolshevism----Cultural Marxism aren't they? Well that was easy here's a headline from beloved right winger's SKY NEWS from 4 days ago.
Labor is full of ‘cultural Marxism’ not the working class).

As others have said, there were socialist elements within the party in its early days, i.e the strasser brothers. But there influence was almost non existent by the time the last of them were killed in the night of the long knives.

Control of the means of production is at the very heart of socialism.
Yeah, I know that.

Control of the means of production is not at the very heart of left wing politics. Left wing politics is not 'socialist economics' you goose.

Many left wing political positions advance socialist economics in order to achieve their political ends, but not all. Many right wing political positions also advance socialist economics to achieve theirs as well.

Liberals oppose Marxism:

The American neoclassical economist Milton Friedman argued that under socialism the absence of a free market economy would inevitably lead to an authoritarian political regime. Friedman's view was also shared by Friedrich Hayek, who also believed that capitalism is a precondition for freedom to flourish in a nation state.[25][26] Some liberal theorists argue that any redistribution of property is a form of coercion
Criticism of Marxism - Wikipedia

Left wing anarchists oppose Communism on similar grounds (a coercive unitary party tyranny promoting social ownership and collectivism is the opposite of anarchy).

Socialism, Marxism and Communism all suppress individual rights and freedoms and require a totalitarian single party State to function (which invariably forms a tyranny). In every single one of them, there has been persecution of the wealthy and educated (including outright genocide), suppression of liberty, rights and freedoms, and a tyrannical single party state.

Your views (Nazis are left wing, socialism is the definition of left wing politics) are so ill informed, idiotic and self evidently wrong, you're clearly trolling.

Go to a political rally and use your own eyes as to on what side of the piquet lines the Neo-Nazis are standing. It's not on the same side as the Greens I assure you.

I remember seeing both groups at a Motorhead gig
No issues
Lemmy is God so that would explain it
Yup Lemmy is the man, he was always a massive punk fan and even played in The Damned when they were The Doomed and trying to get back rights to the name.

There's also the "Motordamn" single which was meant to be an album however too many "substances" were consumed :D
Yeah, Lemmy had a foot in all worlds, he really did. One of the most unique voices in music.

One of my favourites is that the guitarist from Australia's pre eminent neo fascist band "Fortress" only got into it as he was sick and tired of being beaten up by skins.

"Sid" aka Darren Atkinson was a Robert Smith clone albeit bleached white hair, back in the day when he was seeing Donna M from Dandenong. At the time I was seeing Donna's best friend (late 80s).

Challenge set to the neo nazi scum here, dispute this claim LOL there's a hell of a lot more about this piece of human filth that I'll share #theregoesthemasterrace once I get into the good ol boys prison days after he vandalised Melbourne Synogogue :D
Gold. That arseclown wanted to ’stab some SHARPs’ at the Dropkick Murphys’ show at the Evelyn back in the 90s.

No idea why the fu**stick was even there - DM lyrics pretty clear where they stand on things.

Are the Communist Party of China like the Nazis too in that there's nothing in a name?

I mean the state controls everything and murders millions of its own people so it certainly sounds like communism.

lol at the one who claimed Stalin was a right winger.
Horseshoe theory. There are elements of Stalinism (his own version of Leninism) that was very right wing.

I guess you can assure equality by murdering anyone richer than 'X' and distributing the money to the poor, but at that point it's not that much different to murdering all the Jews, disabled, freemasons, and homosexuals and distributing that to the white guys.

The Prussian nobility backed Hitler for a reason, and it wasnt 'socialism' I assure you of that.

Im just positing liberal critiques of Communism. Anarchists have their own.

Youre the mad man asserting that those pleasant Neo Nazis are 'doing it wrong'.
