Johnno has politely requested to post this on our board

Over the last few years, I have started a couple of touch Aussie Rules competitions in Parkville and East Malvern. They have a heavy focus on inclusivity and welcoming new people to our great game whilst still having plenty to offer for those of us who have played the game all of our lives. Games are non-contact 7-a-side, mixed gender and are open to everyone. Check out the video:

This, however is a one off, all day event at Gardiner Park, Glen Iris. Every team will get to play a minimum of 3 games.

Every cent from this day will be going to charity. Everyone is welcome to participate. Everyone. You can join as a team, you can join as an individual. Or you can just rock up on the day, bring your kids and your dog and enjoy great food and craft beer! There will be plenty on offer to keep the kids occupied.

For those wanting to put in a team or join another team, we are offering incentives to those who sign up before August 31st. Cost to register a team is $300. Unless you sign up before the 31st Aug and you will only pay $250. Bargain!

Even if you can't make the day, we would really appreciate your support by simply sharing this or telling anyone you know who you think would love to get involved on the day either as a player or as a food and beverage loving spectator!

For more information or to register, check out the website (aussie7s.com.au). Any questions or feedback, please comment below or send me a PM. This is the first of what will hopefully become an annual event and hopefully there are a few people on here that are keen to get involved. It will be a ripper day!
